    Thumbs down complaint against Reliance Big Tv-and the customer service

    sir,
    I have purchased the reliance big tv in the month of january 2010, and then the complaint with set top box started from the month september and the technician came replaced the new set top box with an old repaired one and that also got spoilt and they replaced it with an another old one after complaining after 15 days. After replacing it the present settop box done complaint started after 2 days and I complaint to the customer service on december 6th and till now nobody bother to call me up and come and see whats wrong,according to them complaint will be rectified within 48 hours which is not done till date.(my smart card no.200751127698)

    Angry complaint aginst reliance big tv

    Dear Sir please help me as On 14th feb 2011 i had again reacharged my gold plan plus marathi for full year,on 25th feb 2011 as i had no signal ,I called customer care at 3 pm ,and for the first time came to know that i had to intimate them by calling that i have recharged and tell them please activate my account, NO ONE TELL YOU THIS HAS TO BE DONE NOR HE LEAFLET SAYS SO, But at same time they say two things my account is not activated but the amount in my account showed Rs 2474.93 then too they told me to pay more Rs70 and call to activate, so after recharging for Rs 70 at 6pm , i called and spoke to the CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE SAIBABU and he gave me confirmation that my account is activated and now on 18th march 2011 i got a sms that my account is having no suffiiciant bal amt, and after calling i spoke to Kamalesh and Hitesh respectivly to which they told me i have a balnace of Rs 2370 plus but my account is not actived yet and transfered me to a senior executive Supriya she tell me to pay more Rs112, what i dont understand is due to the fault of their customer care executive SAIBABU who due to his negligence didnot feed on computer my information of activated account, why should i suffer and pay again and again, when i toldher the same and asked her for refund, or rectify and i will complain higher ups or goto comssumer forum she been so arrogant tells me to do whatever i can,
    My amount from Rs 2550 for whole year is going on deducting even after calling to activate,
    I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME COMPLAINT BUT RELIANCE IS NOT DOINGA ANYTHING ABOUT IT AS
    The Reliance company policy is to cheat people, What i dont understand is once when they receive the amount and they know i have paid why i need to inform them, agian after infoming how would i know that my account is activated as they dont intimate back to us , OR IS THIS JUST ANOTHER OF RELIANCE POLICY OF MONEY MAKING AND CHEATING POLICY biBIT BY BIT , I HAVE TOTAL 4 CONNECTION 3 OF RELIANCE BIG TV AND ONE OF TATA SKY OF WHICH I HAVE NO COMPLAINT FOR TATA
    i NEED EXPLANATION AND RECTIFY MY PROBLEM, they have no efficint staff

    Default Cancellation of BIG TV

    Hello Sir,

    I request you to advise me as to how I need to go about resolving the issue I am facing.

    I reside at Mumbai and I have purchased BIG TV connection on 31st Dec 2010 by paying Rs. 1490/- (Cheque No: 783685, Bank Name: Bank of Maharashtra) on name of “Mrs Shobha Gangurde” from Appco Marketing India Pvt Ltd's.

    At the time of purchase sales representative had told me that you will get HD set top box (same is writen on Application Form) and while installation on 27th Feb 2011 they refuse me to give HD set top box, instead of that the are allotting me normal set top box. For that I had refused to accept this deal and asked to return my money back. Now they are telling me to log a call on BIG TV help desk for this issue.

    For the same I have send mail to Reliance Big TV on March 09, 2011 email id : content.enquiry@reliancedigitaltv.com, but till date I have not received any reply from them

    So kindly, guide me to resolve my issue and get my money back.

    Angry falsely charged of re-installation money of Rs. 350

    I am a relaince Big Tv user since 5th spet 2010. my smart card no. is 20 0789 2518 35
    on 21st of april 2011 i lodged a complaint of poor signal qaulity n spoke to CCE Renu who gave me the complanit no#. - 151381916 telling me that service engineer will visit to rectify the problem. and told me that i will not be charged anything except if there is a fault in the parts which are supposed to be changed.

    After 3 hrs 2 of the engineers came and i led them to the terrace where the dish was placed. On being asked continously is evrything alright with the dish or not and getting continous assurety of evrything fine i never bothered myself again. Then on being asked if i want to replace my dish to somewhere else or not; when i asked them if i will be charged or not if i opt for placing the dish to someother place , again on getting clear assurety by the service engineers of no amount will be charged to my account. I got my dish replaced on their suggestion. But after 12 hours my acount was charged 350Rs.

    After calling to Big Tv cust care on toll free no. 1800 200 9001 n speaking to Amitabh on 22nd of april and again on 26th of april 2011 to Amitabh, Gurpreet, Rajeev, Rinku and Balvinder (senior supervisor) the complanit of being mislead and hiding the information still remains unsolved wasting my 2hrs on fone. adding to it my calls were disconnected by all of the above after being put on hold which is more disgusting n irritating.

    They say that they can register a complaint against the engineer but they wont be able to refund my money. but registering the complaint agaisnt the engineer wont solve my problem because i anyway see no chance of getting my money back. but what i want is 'I want my money back'. and that they should suffer the loss even if there is a charge of re-installation to even a inch far place on the same roof. Because of confirming the same thing twice if they cant give porper info then they have no right to charged me on that account.
    I will not agree to the charges of being a ignorant user, which i m obviously not. Now i want to them to give me back 350 rs. for charging me wrongly and also for the mental pressure and inconvenience i had gone through.
    I feel so cheated for merely 350rs.

    Please take a luk into my matter n see what can be done.

    Unhappy comlain for signal lost of some channel

    Hello sir,
    I am a Reliance big tv user. My card no. is 200560973998. I have been facing a problem of signal lost of some channel from last two days. So, I have to register a complaint regarding missing of channel like Colour channel, Sony channel and Star plus channel. This channels are not coming and rest of the channels are coming on tv screen. When am going to watch these channel only blue screen is coming on tv screen which shows a message "SIGNAL LOST". This problem Occuring from last two days.

    I require the problem to get rectified immediately and see that I am troubled again and again.

    Thumbs down Complaint against Reliance Big TV customer care.

    I am a subscriber of Reliance Big TV.

    On 9th of June i made a call to customer care and complained about poor signal.

    My Complaint number is 154422609 and was attended by some customer care executive.

    I registered my complaint about the poor signal quality on 9th June at 2.08 PM and customer care executive ensured me that a technician will contact to me very soon n will visit to check what thw problem is,within 48 hrs.
    Next day,on 10th June,i reminded them about my complaint then dey said that mam,ur 48hrs hav not been completed yet...so not to worry...
    i just wanted to know that is it necessary that the problem is only be solved when the time limit which was given by customer helpline,i.e.,48 hrs is completed....okk....it is fine...
    But,I asked one of them that if you charged us according to hrs then why this 48hrs time limit.Solve the problem as soon as possible.Then he said that mam"JITNE TIME TK AAP SERVICE USE NHI KR RHI<WO AMOUNT APKO AAPKE ACCOUNT ME REFUNDABLE HOGA N ABHI AAPKO 24 HRS HO GYE H TO AAPKA AMOUNT ie 60.36 rs REFUND HO JAYEGA".I had a doubt in it.so i asked the same to one of the senior customer care executive and he refused to that statement...and he ensure me that not to worry your problev surely resolved by next day.
    But,what to do..when 48 hrs is completed.
    On 11th June,at approx 2:47 PM,when the given time limit is completed and no technician visit,even no contact from technician side,i made again a call to your customer helpline-18002009001,n one of senior customer care executive named Bharat told me that mam your time period is of 2 days not 48 hrs..
    m just asking to you that what is the differnce between 2 days and 48 hrs???
    and when i asked the same question to him then he answered that"MAM AGAR AAP HRS K ACCD DEKHENGI TO TIME COMPLETE HO GYA BUT 2 DIN K ACCD ABHI AAPKA DIN COMPLETE NHI HOTA H.."...AND then we argue about 2 days and 48hrs...what a silly thing that RELIANCE BIG TV SENIOR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE dont know the similarity in 2days and 48 hrs...anyways..what to do..
    Now they again told me to wait for some time...but how much time i have 2 wait...?
    I must say...that Customer care executives are just here to make customer fools in either way as i mentioned above.They provide very pathetic,very poor i have ever seen in my life.
    I just wanted to know whats the solution in this regard.I hope.some serious action must taken place in this regard so that in future no customer is going to face all that problems regarding customer helpline.

    Default Facing problems with the new HD stb

    I was using the reliance sd stb until a week ago. all was fine until then. I purchased this new hd set top box. the screen goes blank when the stb is connected using HDMI cable every half an hour or so. the system has to be switched off to resume the transmission.this happens every half an hour or so.. i complained to the agent who bought this box here. as soon as i called him to say there was a problem, even before listening to what i have to say he said that all the set top boxes are fine. the set top box work well with the ordinary av cable though. i lodged two complaints and they were closed even before the problems were solved. i went with the stb and asked the agent to see for himself if its working. he said it worked all night and there was no problem. as soon as i told him that i want to come and see it for myself he started laying down all sorts of excuses. i am afraid that i have given my set top box to the agent without even opening a new complaint with the customer care. the agent has asked me not to do so.i believed him initially.he is not ready to accept that fact that there is a problem with the set top box.i have other devices that are connected to the tv with the HDMI cable. they are all working without a glitch.still this agent insists that its the problem of the tv.i really dont find any logic to what he is saying. i am being well and truly cheated

    Sir,
    My name is Dattatreya Reddy,and my Reliance digital TV smart card no: is 200892823738.I am from Hyderabad.
    Actually I was not at all interested in Reliance Big TV.Then here came a executive named Davender(9959125246),who offered me a pack of all 800 channels and with a cost of Rs 120/- per month.Taking that offer into consideration I went for BIG TV HD.Then after 3 or 4 months technicians came to my house telling me that there isn't any such pack.Firstly I refused the connection but they told me that I would receive my money in the form of check that too it might tanke 2 or 3 months,so noting to do I went for normal packs which are damn costly than other DTH services.
    So kindly consider my complaint and see to it that I'm serviced in some way or the other,which might help me.

    Default Reliance BIG TV installation

    I have purchased a Reliance BIG TV connection yesterday i.e. 29th Oct 2011 in the morning. My smart card no. is 200747812942 The engineer called me up in the afternoon the he will come in the evening. Then he called up and said he will come sunday morning i.e 30th Oct. Since morning I called up customer care, that engineer, everybody just said like just reaching in 1-1:30 hr. but nobody came till now i.e. 4:30 pm. Reliance promises to get it installed within 48 hrs. I fed up of their service and un-professionalism before starting to use it.
