    Hi,

    We have an Airtel Digital TV which we are using for the last 1 year.
    Customer id – 3001315568
    Recently we moved from Pune to Gurgaon and to get our digital tv re-installed at Gurgaon we had to wait for 10 days after registering our request on 15th Jun, 2010 and following up everyday for it.
    Finally when we got the digital TV re-installed on 24th June we thought now at least things would be fine. But we were wrong, within 15 mins of re-installation the channels went off and we got the message "Please recharge your account to resume your service" with Error Code 6
    We had already paid for a pack for one year in Oct-Nov 2009 and above that too we still have balance in my account so this problem makes no sense.
    We have called up the customer care every time since that day and every time we got the assurance that it would be resolved in the next 20-24 hrs but still nothing has changed. We've spoken to your customer care executives, your technical support, the supervisors and everyone but the result is a BIG ZERO. Yesterday (7th July 2010) when we called up the customer care again we were told that our complaint was resolved on 30th June. We are appalled over this, how could you resolve the complaint without taking a confirmation from the customer. Our complaint has still not been resolved and as always again a request number has been given to us with a 24 hrs SLA and still we have received no call from the airtel office neither has my complaint been resolved.
    The last thing we can think of is raising a formal complaint against them in the consumer court and taking this matter to higher authorities if this issue is not resolved now.

    Hello,
    As you mentioned that you have already registered your complaint with the Digital TV customer care but still not get any response, so we suggest you to send a written notice to the Nodal Officer via email or registered post, mention all the details in it and ask them for the proper solution with in the mentioned time in the notice, wait for their response and revert us back.
    Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

    Thumbs down Airtel Digital TV Connection

    Dear Sir,

    I registered by complaint to Airtel customer care on 6/8/2010. Since then I have called at least 10 times and many a times my complaint has been registered and I have been a complaint number every time. But it has been resolved yet after 2 weeks.

    The customer care and the service support of Airtel is the worst and now I have planned to switch to the local cable provider.

    It is requested that the Set top box and the dish antenna may be taken by Airtel and I may be refunded the total amount, I spent on this stupid box.

    I had a technical problem in my STB, and had given it for swapping as it is under warranty, but 17 days have passed but the company is not replacing my STB. No Positive response from Customer Service Support,they are just filing complaints and giving me Complaints Nos., but in the end the problem Stand UNRESOLVED. No Proceedings from Local distribution channels. My customer id for Airtel is 3001376729.

    i am tired of requesting them so knocked your Door.

    Post Airtel digital tv DTH not working since 14 August, 2010. Nobody is taking action.

    I am suffering since August 14th,2010 for a technical problem in my STB, and viewing card (VC CARD), but 17 days have passed but the company is not solving my problem . No Positive response from Customer Service Support,they are just filing complaints and giving me Complaints Nos., but in the end the problem Stand UNRESOLVED.     i am tired of requesting them so knocked your Door.

    I really need your help with this.

    I am Bishram from Majhgawan Satna , Airtel Digital Tv Customer ( Customer Id : 3001801672 ). This mail is to inform you that from last one month am
    facing problem in Airtel Digital TV and am not able to watch any channels.. and we have registered complaints for that. after many complaints , Your engineer told with conversation on phone non by visit, its an Setup box problem and he promised us that within 2 working days he will replace with a new setup box. but till 15/11/2011.So i personaly go to your service center and change my set top box.but after change the set top box still i have the problem, many times i have re-registered the complaints again. but they are showing negligence towards my problem instead of solving it. when i ask the reason they will reply with some nonsense reasons like "Sorry we cant do anything" or they will disconnect the call pusposefully without the reason. this had happened many times .

    I felt ashamed to inform you that Airtel Digital TV Customer care Executive , the Supervisor one who communicate with us when i call to 12150 and
    few of ur Technicians donot have basic manners... they dont no how to behave with thier customers. their words are totally rude...


    Can I ask that you look into this to ensure that from the next time or from the next service visit, can i expect basic manners & decency in your boy's????? or else i have to think about the further actions like Consumer Court etc.. Please telephone me to let me know how you'd like to deal with this. When the matter is resolved I'd be grateful for your non-Satisfactory service.
