Dear Sir,

I am one of your so called esteemed customer of Reliance BIG TV with Customer ID 200528881531 in the name of my wife Ms. Swapnil Kochhar and reside in Shakarpur area of Delhi. I got BIG TV installed at my place on 10th June 2010. Everything was hunky dory till 26th June. I was getting "A Class" picture quality and sound. But as fate seals it for me my happiness was short lived and I have to deal with with your dreaded Customer Service which is virtually non existent in India as far as Reliance is concerned.My Set Top box was not being Powered ON and hence I raised a complaint on 26th June 2010 itself and got a complaint number. I received a call from 011-32026567 the very next day and an appointment at 6.30 pm was fixed for the service as I only came back to office after 6 pm. As I already have doubts from the dubious voice of your engineer, he never turned up.Next day, I called the land-line number and there I got the contact details of my service engineer for my area Mr. Rajesh Dhawan Mobile No. 09350493609. On calling him up, he asked me to come to their office at Hasanpur and collect the adapter. I obliged him and collected a replacement "Set Top Box" as on checking my previous adapter he said that adapter is functioning, hence there must be problem in my Set Top Box. Mind you, he never checked it as I was in Reliance office and not at my home. I reached home and checked it, still it was not working. Immediately, I called him up and told him about the matter. Again, an appointment for 30th June was fixed from my side as he was not at all interested in resolving the problem. Next day after repeated calls and reminders, he agreed to come at my place at 8 pm. I waited and waited with an endless puffs of smoke but no body turned. I called upon others fellows from BIG TV Mr. Bhupinder (09350493611) and Mr. Mohit (09350493613) and they both assured me that Mr. Dhawan has a call in Lakshmi Nagar area to install a new connection and when he will be free from acquiring a new fool for his company, he will do the secondary chore of servicing an already fooled customer of 15 days. Anyways, with repeated calls, he decided not to pick up my calls. And I was once again forced to lodge yet another complaint with your CC as my previous complaint was closed by your engineers without even coming to my place. Anyways, I lodged a new complaint with number 130741736 on 30th June. Once gain I am assured of 24 hrs resolution time and once gain the same story repeated. The complaint was closed without even a call.

This is complete callousness and lack of professionalism on your part and to the top of it your so called "engineers" are impolite and behave in haughty manners as if they own the company and what I asked from them is an obligation but not a part of there duty.

I request you to kindly look into the matter if you have an iota of idea about the grievances a customer have to face due to your pathetic customer service levels. I guess Reliance BIG TV is here to show how low a service can be. May you have been in any other democratic country, you could have been sued for millions and if in a dictatorial country all of your so called engineers be moved to the walls in a line and executed.

Anyways, I was able to get the signals after some manual fiddling with the connection wires but this taught me that I can't trust these guys.
