    Default Complaint against Airtel DTH

    I, Suresh Gogia on going through airtel website have generated my interest to buy Airtel DTH against
    Request No.056658 on 29/05/10 against which I was contacted by Mr. Manoj Shah of Vriti Infocom
    (Tel 0120-4087603 & manoj.s@vriti-interactive.com) who told me to make payment of
    Rs.3190/- through their weblink offers.connectindia.in accordingly the Airtel DTH will be installed at
    my residence by Airtel representatives by tomorrow. Till now tomorrow never came failing which
    I contacted Airtel DTH Customer care at 12150 and was provided Customer ID 3004197138 with
    assurance that Airtel DTH will be installed at my residence within 48 hours from 30/05/10.

    In view of this i would request you to track the agency which seems to be a fraud and see if i can either
    get Airtel DTH installed or refund against my payment.

    Hi,
    I am Aravindh,a pathetic customer of the worst DTH service provider in India,'AIRTEL'.
    I had a problem with the Adapter i am using and have placed a request for a new one. I was told any request would take a max time of 24 hrs to resolve. I have placed the request on 5th of July and today is 8th of July, still there is no response from AIRTEL. I have been calling them for this everyday atleast twice but everytime the same answer that it would be done in a couple of hours.... No idea when that is going to happen

    Indeed, i had took the same issue to the Nodal Office in Mumbai but, the same story.....waste of Phone calls.....

    Kindly, lets try some other DTH Service than going for AIRTEL....

    Default Airtel DTH yet not activated

    Hello all,

    I have made a payment of 999/- through IDR on 28th Aug 2010. I was confirmed by Mr abhishek on phone that it will be installed within 48HRs.
    My instalation got done after a big Hue & Cry. I contacted plenty of times then finally it got done at my home on 5th september 2010.
    Still today 8th sep it is not activated. I dont know what to with airtel service. I am using Airtel Broadban , Postpaid mobile & now thought of using DTH.

    I tried local guys but there is no update from local team. Thanks to help in this regard.

    Default Reg. Complaint#3929726-ESCALATION!!!

    Customer ID: 3000 745 165

    I have registered Complaint#3929726 on 22nd Sep. for Refund of My Balance Amount (INR 685) since I have closed the Account and All the Devices are collected by the companyfrom home.

    When i Enquired about the status at 11:30AM Today from Helpdesk I was told that Money CANNOT Be Refunded.

    I Argued that I was already told by Helpdesk 3-4 times and Even I got call from Customer Manager from Delhi HO and I was Assured that Money will be REfunded back.

    After my argument, Helpdesk person consulted Senior person and assured me that Money WILL BE Refunded.

    At 12:30PM Same day, I again called to check with Help desk to check when and how I will get Money back. To MY SHOCK, I was told that MONEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED BACK.

    I Told him, I got positive Answer from same help desk just and Hour back but he was in Negative.

    So I Want to Know:

    1. What is the POLICY on REFUND of BALANCE RECHARGE Amount once Connection is closed?

    2. Why AM I Getting Two Completly DIFFERENT Answers from Same Helpdesk?

    3. Will I Get REFUND of MY AMOUNT? I Expect a DEFINATE Answer Please....

    Pls. reply ASAP Since it has been A MONTH Now I am CHASING Airtel for Connection Closing and NOW REFUND...

    I will decide whether to approach Consumer Court based on your reply..

    PS: You can check History of my Complaints(7 in total in month) and still MENTAL HARRASMENT is UNDENDING...

    Angry very bad service- Airtel DTH

    Hi

    My name is Raj Saini with customer ID 3006472520. I paid full amount online by credit card to Vriti Infocom. The promise was that instalation will be done within 24 hours. Instalation did happened but its 3 days now but still account not activated to resume service.

    Customer care says cannot help and contact local office. Called local office at 9999988540 and 9650100100. They say pin given is wrong. Written mail to virti and no reply yet.

    Customer care says cannot register complaint as account not fully active.

    Now money also gone and no service too and worst cannot register complaint also.

    Watta Pity that i chose Airtel
