    Hello,

    i am a Digital TV customer since May2009
    My customer ID-3000734681
    I have recharged my A/C by credit card on 19th March.
    On 22nd March i have received a call --saying the serrvice will be discontinued as i have not rechargded my A/C.

    On 22nd i have asked my bank to send me the confirmation that Bharti ltd has received the payment.
    on 24th Mar i again got a call asking for confirmation no of payment and my service got discontinued.

    Since then i have made 100 calls and everytime anew commitment and service request was given.
    Today is 29th Mar where i have spent minimum 2-3 hrs on phone and evrytime talking to a new customer care person/manager and SR no.

    I want to get my A/C credited with all days for which i have not availed the service from Airtel and a date when this will be resolved.
    If this is not done i will for sure claim for money for which Airtel has not given me service and harassed me by sending payment reminders and disconnected my connection.

    We suggest you to forward your complaint to your area nodal officer, mention all the details in it ask them for the damages and to solve your problem within the mentioned time in the notice else you will drag them to the consumer forum.

    Dear All,

    I wanted a new connection for my new LED TV and after going through different vendor’s monthly plan unfortunately I decided to go for AIRTEL HD BOX. To make the installation earlier I have decided to pay online through AIRTEL site net banking. As soon as I made the payment through online my life become hell. I did not receive any conformation neither I receive any AIRTEL message stating that they have received the amount. At the same time I instantly got the SMS from my credit card account that your money has been debited from the account. Then started my everlasting fight to locate the customer care and find out that when my installation will happen.

    I made at least 50 calls to the customer care 02044448080/18001028080 and got transferred from one department to other, but no one help me to know my status. Customer care executives are so offended with me to listen that I already made the payment through online and therefore cannot be his client, they dropped the call as soon as I said that I made the payment through online banking. This was just the starting of my terrible day.

    After wasting 3 to 4 hours I decided that lets cancel my last transaction and go for new one, because by then I was sure that these greedy customer care representatives will not help me till I will not make a transaction as his client through IVR(Phone banking) system.

    I again dilled the customer care number as a new customer who is interested in buying a new HD connection, Ms. Poonam received the call and she was more than eager to help me(Because I was a new client). I told her to book a new connection for me and cancel the old one that I made through online. She did the same and promised me that I will get the connection within 24 hour as per my requirement and refund will be done for the last transaction within 7 days. I patiently waited for the next 24 hour for the installation but there was not end to the sin I did last day(I choose AIRTEL instead of so many better player in the market). I decided to call again to the customer care and again as soon as I said that I have already paid the amount last day and want to inquire the status of my installation, no one was interested in my call. Then I finally tried to reach Ms. Poonam who was eager to help me last day and promised me to get it install within 24 hour, I was shocked she was not ready to accept my call. Every time I tried I got the same response –“she is on another call please give us your number, she will call you in 5 minutes”. I heard this sentence more than 20 times in different voices.

    After 48 hour I again gathered all my courage and decided to call the sales and marketing department of AIRTEL, I used one of my friends number and name and called up as new customer and asked the first sales representative to connect me to Ms. Poonam. Within second I can hear the voice that I wanted to hear since last 24 hour- voice of Ms. Poonam, again she was as enthusiastic as ever to sell new connection to brand new client. her voice started fading as I started telling her that I already booked it from her and it’s been more than 48 hours, still I am waiting for my connection to get installed.

    Most horrible part of this story was yet to come, she asked my registered phone number and instantly dropped the call for my suffering to continue.

    I am again at the same stage where I was 3 days back….. Let me know what should I do now?????????
