I had made payment of Rs. 1990/- for new connection of airtel digital TV on 11th march 2010. The payment was made through IVR via SBI credit card. The transaction number is 7672521. I had received customer id 3003403168 on 12th amrch 2010 with recharge of Rs 240/-. I haven't got any activation voucher number or order number, nothing has happened after that. I have got in touch with customer care everyday, but i have received same response of "your installation will be done within 24 hrs" everyday.I had mailed them several times regarding the same, but no updates on the issue. Now when i tried to call customer care today, i got computerized response of "please sms CALL to 54325, our representative will call you back." I have had enough from them. can anyone please tell me how do i proceed for cancellation of connection. In case you need anything feel free to call on +919611107179(registered mobile number).

NEVER BUY AIRTEL DIGITAL TV..... WORST SERVICE AND DUMB & INEFFICIENT CUSTOMER CARE
My Consumer id is 3000730778.
My connection got lost on 16th December 2010 with the error code of "B001".
My issue is still unresolved even after calling the customer care of Airtel on daily basis.
Airtel customer care executives have tortured me very much, by giving date and time of resolution.
Regarding this issue i have had a talk with..priya,shana, irfan....and many more..
After that i spoke with senior technical member manjula and rekha...
Every time customer care person is telling that my issue is transferred to technical dept.
today is 6th day of my wait and i am still waiting.
I also have received various complaint numbers...

Airtel digital- poor and negligent care centre.
for the last more than five years i have been receiving unwanted messages and phone calls from AIRTEL DIGITAL TV for some som pal id no. 3000797721 of rewari.this does not relates to me.
the position has been explained to the company and its lazy and ? staff hundreds of time.
but they dame care but they are interested in talking more and more over phone ?????.
they are a big nuisance creator for me.
i will advise u all to refrain from such company and aware others in the matter.

Yes i agree very poor customer service..
I was a happy customer of Airtel (customer Id-3002736963)which is why i renewed my by subsceription for 1 year and converted 3 of my mobile connections from vodafone to airtel the only reason being good customer service and support.
But recently i relocated and i had made a simple request for re installation of my Airtel DTH connection, service request no 5421150 given on 15th feb for an appointment of 17th feb which was never attended. ok fine. I gave another request 5617021 on 26th feb for an appointment fixed for the same day. No one turned up. The next day a guy said he would viist by 2 pm and came at 6. To add to it he was the most misbehaved engineer(Ramesh), I have ever seen. He had come with a thought he would install the same in 5 mins and run away, but when he saw there is concealed wiring provision he started babling saying we dont do concealed wiring, i wont do it and its a waste of time, you talk to any airtle customer care, i dont care , we wont do if it is concealed thats it. and you do it on your own using your own engineer. then why am i paying airtel fro installation.
I have a few questions on this points
1) Airtel itself is advertising nowadays on providing concealed neat wiring from multi storied buildings. why so?
2) I can understand if i ask you to do the complete concealed wiring which takes time but i already have an existing provision and there is a normal cable line inside it. It take 5 mins to remove the existing cable line and put in your airtel cable wires.
3) If airtel says you can not provide concealed wiring does that mean all house who should buy a dth connection from airtel should look ugly with wires visible all around the house?
To add to it the engineer is supported by what he says by the area manager his no being(9500063092) of mylaporem chennai.
You customer care guys also seem to be unclear about concealed wiring can be done or not, which requires clarity from the senior level whch is why i am sending the mail.
Please make it clear to all you airtel customer care executives, area manager, engineers
1) There is a difference between doing a Concealed wiring provision and and connecting to an existing concealed wire provision.
2) doing the provsion costs more which i can understand but connecting to an existing provision takes 5 mins and should be done by the engineer.
Hoping & expecting a quick action on this to continue being a happy customer of airtel..

My new complaint has be closed Just to update Even the new complaint has been closed without even resolving by the area manager

I have relaunched another complaint and hoping atleast now they resolve. i got a call sying someone will attend by 3 today butagain no one did bu the complaint got closed..

I am trying to reach the tamil nadu nadal office but unable as his no is always busy.

Reaching the Nodal officer and customer care no is a big pain, even i i get connected, the call gets dropped in between. so poor has become the customer service which was once thr best among the competitors. There is no way to complain and escalate it to a higher authority than the nodal officers no. I feel Tata had become a better customer service now. atleast they have an escalation level where onc ecan send a mail to the Sunit Batara, unlike airlte where one cant reach my ajay puri email by any means. to tell him what happening on the ground..
