    Default Complaint against Fraud services provided by AIRTEL authorised dealers in selling DTH

    I Roshan Uchil would like to register a strong complaint against AIRTEL and its authorised dealers for seeling fradulent services in Mumbai and cheating consumers by collecting money and not providing the promised service

    We had a called Just dial for providing us contact number for AIRTEL DTH service for our residence. We immediately got a call from Airtel authorised dealer Kaushik Enterprises address 2,Divya Darpan, Opp.Appollo Complex, R.K. Singh Road, P.P. Road, Andheri (E), Mumbai - 400 093.

    They immediately visited our residence on 18 Feb 2010 FLAT 704, Jupiter B, Lodha Paradise Thane (W) and provded as Activation Kit for Rs 2000 and receipt mentioning the Digicom number which is 3110 8317 5138 8150.
    Also advised us that the engineer will be in the evening with the setup box and we will have our Airtel connection by evening. To our surpise after this there was no engineer and we started calling all the number in the receipt for Kaushik enterpises where they picked up call once and then never picked any calls from our number.

    We immediately raised this issue with Airtel DTH regional Manger Mr Vinayak Poddar who assured us that he will resolve and provided us Number of the Mumbai Branch Head Mr Ranga and Mr Nitin who manages the dealuer network.
    But to our surprise even the brand like Airtel washed their handsoff especially Mr Ranga branch head clearly told us that they cannot do anything in this matter and we have to recover from the dealer.
    It was shocking that the management of Airtel is showing no responsibility for the end consumers when we are compaling to them about fradulent behaviour from their dealer. The amount fraud is Rs2000 but it shamefull that Airtel management does not care about the consumer rights and is not wiiling to provide us with service that we hv paid for .
    We as cosnumer do not deal with dealers and we go for the brand . I feel it Airtel responsibility to provide services which we have paid for not leave the end consumer to go to the streets and fight with dealers like kaushik enterprises who are conducting frauds daily with the poor consumers who have pay from thier hard earned money .
    I would like register my complaint against Airtel DTH and Kaushik enterprised for conducting fraud with consumers by selling them with Used activation kits in Mumbai and fooling the end consumer by not providing the services paid for .

    Look forward for your assiatnce in resolving the case. We have original receipt copy of the amount paid as well as all contact number of the Management of Airtel DTH and Kaushik enterprises who are taking us for a ride for the past 2 weeks . Would also if possible like to involve the Press and publish and article which can make other consumer like me beware of what is happening from Airtel and their dealers like Kaushik so that no other consumer hard earned money is lost due to the Fraudelent practise from Airtels authorised dealers and no support for Airtel management who responsible for providing services to the end consumer in Mumbai

    Dear Manju,
    Thanks for your feedback. We hv trusted Just dial for lot of our dealings earlier and this time we got directly connected to kaushik enterprises when we asked for the number for DTH dealers .
    Request you to take legal action against kaushik enterprises as they are cheating the end consumers by taking money and providing used DTH card. If such people are not penalised then such malpractices will continue. This will effect your company values and also hv raised this concern with Airtel if they do not support end consumer on same.
