    Default Airtel DTH refund woes

    Hi,

I had applied for a new Airtel digital TV connection by calling the helpline number provided on website (020-40181400) and made the payment of Rs 1890 for the 3 month mega package through credit card. Details were:

    Transaction ID - 4110931750000897
    Customer ID - 302871145
Account holder name - Supriya Singh

But when the engineer (Mr Prakash Katkar) came to install the set top box, there was no Line of sight (LOS). Now I have been chasing customer care to get a refund but even after making a hundred calls and sending them many more emails, I get the same response that the CONCERNED department would call me within 24 hours. I am still waiting for a callback from them, but there has been no help provided whatsoever. I never expected a company like Airtel to resort to such methods, basically looting customers. Can someone please suggest how to get a refund from them? Thanks

Default Poor picture clarity & bad sound quality.

    Respected Kumarendhiran Sir,

First of all I should thanks to Neutron Service Center, Mumbai for getting me the
e-mail id , so only I could able to express my pain to you. I would like to brief
you before articulate my bad and horrible experience from your Area Service Manager
Mr. Nitin - Manager Customer Care - West and Mr. Ankur ( Mob No- 09276010236 ) and
Mr. Bharat ( Mob No- 09825992626 ). In fact this matter has also well known to
Mr.Sanjay Snroff ( Mob No.09898941973 ). All my earlier correspondences are appended
in the trailing mails for your ready reference.

Sir, I have purchased one new 32 inch LCD TV ( Model X15 ) with Airtel D2H
connection ( as suggested by the dealer ) from M/s. Pars Automation (Proprietor:
Mr. Ashok Chawla - Mob No.09824229596,/ 02836223824 ) , Gandhidham- Gujarat on cash
payment of 40,100 /- on 17-10-09 by getting the commitment this 100Mz LCD have the
Great Clarity with surrounding sound quality . The next day I have communicated to
M/s. Pars Automation for giving the complaint of Hazy Picture and Bad quality of
sound. This hopeless dealer has failed to provide the prompt and best service which
was committed at the time of purchasing the LCD.

The first shock I got it when this dealer has bluntly denied to help on this matter
to resolve the problem by saying that it is the customer headache how to get service
from M/s. Panasonic company . Any How I got the contact person of Mr. Ankur of
Customer Service dept. But since than , I was keep on struggling to get my LCD
trouble free , lastly on 2nd Dec-09 , Mr Ankur along with Mr.Bharat have visited my
place to attend the fault. In fact they have examined the product and agreed that
the LCD picture quality is hazy and sound quality is not good. Even though they are
not accepted that this LCD has faulty... saying that this may be because of signal
quality of Airtel connection. Today I have called Airtel D2H personnel for checking
the signal quality and any other defect in the cable. They have confirmed that
signal quality and cabling are absolutely all right and same has communicated
immediately to Mr. Bharat (of M/s.Panasonic service) by the Airtel Service Engineer.

What is the mistake form the customer side on these matter ??? Or I have done a
crime of purchasing Panasonic brand ??? Now I have the feeling that the amount which
    has invested is really worthy???

Could I expect from you sir for making this faulty LCD to be replaced by a brand new
one and giving me opportunity to enjoy the experience of X series 100 Mz Picture
    clarity & great sound quality.

Kind request to please intervene on these long pending issues and instruct your
service personnel for the replacement of this LCD at the earliest and full stop to
    this problem for ever.

    With Best Regards,
