Hi,

Recently i have taken an Airtel-IPTV connection for which i have been charged Rs. 2250, the product is installed and able to use the services well.

But in my first bill it includes the installation cost which was 2250 and a service tax is implemented on this, Also the amount which i had paid is subtracted from the total bill amount i.e.

(((usage of 6 days on pro data basis + installation charges)* service tax)- amount paid for installation i.e 2250)

Exact calculation (((193.35 + 2250)*10.3% )-2250).

Infact the service tax on the installation is not mention anywhere, neither on advertised banner, nor on Airtel website, also the sales person didn't inform the same inspite of asking him all the details and hidden cost etc.

So kindly let me know is it feasible to charge me service tax for the product installation and set top box etc.

Note :- Product installation and set top box etc. was not told by sales officer or highlighted anywhere.

Also, in this way i have to pay Rs. 225(approx) extra.
