    Default Airtel Digital TV complain



    I had submitted the details online on Airtel Digital TV web site, and then I was contacted by their executed on phone and that executive send me a mail containing the links to view Airtel Digital TV offers and to buy it online
    I paid the amount 1800. acc. to their instruction on phone and they told me that i will get a mail regarding the Kit No. of Digital TV within 3 hours. but i have not got the mail
    I have got mail regarding confirmation of payment
    and order no.
    from vriti infocomm. Iam try their no. 01204087607 from which i have got call but it is temporarily out of service within 4 hours of my purchase.

    Dear Sir,
    I purchased a airtel DTh online by viriti, A link was sent to me for payment. I initially tried to by pay by my PNB debit card, Rs 4250.00 but said transaction failed. Take the same time I paid thru my wife citibank credit card Rs 4250.00. The transaction was sucessful, and a Airtel DTH was installed at my place after few days.
    two days back when a updated by PNB account transcation, I founnd that Rs 4250.00 were debit from account, for which I has received transcation failed. the date and transaction details have bben mailed to Vriti on saturday. I have asked them to refund one of my amounts, that of PNB debit card transcation. Dted 23.1.2010 POSP/10001001/2328308303/50.
    KINDLY HELP ME OUT TO RECOVER MY MONEY.

    Thumbs down Airtel Digital TV complain (inefficient customer care)

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Its been only seven months when i bought Airtel Set Top Box. Since 24th February 2010, my airtel set top box is dead...its not getting any signals..i have launched the complaint atleast 50 times to customer care toll free number, workshop here in my city i.e. Jodhpur, main office Delhi...but to no avail. The customer care is not only inefficient but also ill mannered they don't even know the way to talk to the customers. I did a biggest mistake by choosing Airtel over Tatasky.

    Default Airtel Digital TV cheating their customers

    Airtel Digital TV are cheating their customers there executive is coming and grabing 350/- for replacing STB and airtel is again charging 350/- and deducting from the money which we have charged for TV channels if they didnt got the money they can ask and trace the person who has collected the money but they are waiting till we recharge for viewing channels and once we charge then they are saying that earlier money was negative balance, It seems that they are not professionals but just for the sake of in competition they are making money other way round.

    We dont get your service for last 10 days.We complain to your workers by phone but they dont take any action for this.so kidly give the services.

    Default Poor Customer care

    I had purchased an Airtel Digital DTH few months ago. Ever since it has become a headache. The problems are :
    1) If it rains, the picture goes off. Number of complaints made for this had no effect.
    2) Recharge is horrible. You can never subscribe for a period of your choice. Have to recharge in denominations of hundreds. Accounting has no transparency. Clarification sought for goes to deaf ears. You can never be sure whether you will get the channels shown either in their pamphlet or in their site. Have to satisfy with what they beam.
    3) You can never be sure of what channels you get on day to day basis. Airtel drops channels at their pleasure. They reply only over phone, leaving no record. If insisted, they will give vague mail.
    4) Airtel toll free No. 18001028080 is no way helpful. You cannot get any assistance thru this line. One cannot even log in to the desired location. Before that the call goes to loop. Try if you feel like. I fail to understand why a firm of repute behave like this.

    Before going to Airtel digital TV think twice !!
