    I have taken your IPTV service on a 3 month trial period in July 2009. At the time of taking the service I was told that all the south indian channels will be available with in a month.

    Even after 3 months all the required channels are available and hence I have asked by email and by phone to customer care in Oct 2009 to cancel my account and refund my refundable deposit of Rs.1500/- Till now they have not responded.

    Any number of emails or phone calls are not responded. I have taken the connection only on the faith of BSNL but now we have landed in trouble. BSNL should act on this and save its subcribers.

    Default my way cheated us too

    I have applied for IPTV services on 29th august, 2009, Form Number 010084, amount deposited Rs.1000 as totally refundable security by Cheque number 904579 of State Bank of India.
    But the connection was not provided till 7th September, 2009. So I telephonically requested to call center number 18602669929 on 7th September, 2009. I send a lot of telephonic, e-mail and written reminders to the company in this connection but to no use.Till now they have not responded.

    i am not able to know why the BSNL is not taking any action though myway is set backing its reputaion

    Angry iptv is not working

    today on 31 december i recharged my myway account of RS500 after that my iptv is not working its showing blank screen.

    my iptv is also not working they are not taking call, when someone take call they say they will call me after 5-10 min. but they don`t call or take any action.

    sir,
    i requested for iptv connection dated on 25-01-2010, they given connection , but iam not happy, with this connection

    when iam waching tv , iam could not able to get my internet connection, i lodged complaint and inform to remove

    your instrument and pay back my amount Rs.1500-00. So once again iam bringing to your knowldege.

    Being a very happy and satisfied customer of BSNL and DataOne for many years, I subscribed for BSNL IPTV in November, 2009 when I was offered a 3 month free trial by BSNL. I paid Rs.1500 in cheque which I was told will be refunded if I wish to cancel my IPTV subscription anytime in these 3 month period. I thought it was an offer from BSNL and didn’t know it involved a third party called “MyWay”.

    Eventhough most of the reviews in mouthshut.com about BSNL IPTV were negetive, advicing me not to go for it, I opted for this only because: Firstly it was free for 3 months to try, Secondly I would get my old Dataone modem (Type-I with only one USB and one RJ-45 slot) exchanged for a new Type-II modem(4 RJ-45 slots and wireless) for Rs. 400 extra.

    My plight with MyWay:
    1. In Nov 2009, MyWay executive came very promptly to collect the cheque on the same day I called for IPTV. This is the only time they responded promptly. I filled and signed on the application form, and also another form requesting for replacement of my old modem with Type-II modem agreeing to pay the difference amount of Rs.400.

    2. Wrong commitment: I was misinformed by this MyWay executive that
    a) Installation will take 4 days,
    b) The cheque I gave will be encashed after 3 months, only if I wish to continue the subscription beyond the free 3 months period, and only after taking my phone consent
    c) The difference amount of Rs. 400 for modem replacement will be reflected in my BSNL bill and I can pay them.

    3. After a week, I called MyWay customer care, and I was told that it will take one -two weeks. I asked for cancellation of my a/c . But, surprisingly my cheque was encashed on the same day I called (on 25th Nov 2009 SBI Chq.No.294272 encashed for Rs.1,500.00).

    4. On 27th Nov 2009(Complaint No. 0001) I called your customer care to know the status of my cancellation, I was told that my cheque is encashed and they got the money, but there is some problem with financial dept. and so my connection can’t be installed. My amount will be refunded in a month. I got angry, but I could do nothing but wait for my refund.

    5. Since then, I was waiting for my refund. But surprisingly on 12th Dec 2009 MyWay technician came for installation and installed IPTV with new Set-top box using our old Type-I modem which has only one LAN port. He didn’t get the Type-II modem though I signed the form for modem replacement with new Type-II unit, on the very first day. So, now we can’t have internet and IPTV both simultaneously. I now have either internet or IPTV any one at a given time. I being a software executive, I can’t disconnect my internet. So, IPTV is as good as not installed. He promised for Type-II modem in 4 days.

    6. On repeated calling, on 5th Jan 2010 (after one more month) Type-II modem was delivered at my home by some BSNL lineman. But, to my surprise, I am told that I’ll be charged an amount of Rs.1600 for this modem rather than the difference Rs.400 as promised earlier.
    Seeing all these prolonged delay, wrong commitments, and misinformation from customer care, I got thoroughly discouraged by Myway service and decided to get rid of Myway service and take my refund money Rs.1500.

    7. On 5th Feb, 2010 I called Myway customer care and requested for cancellation of my service. I was told to email a request for cancellation to help@myway.in , and I’ll be getting a confirmation call from them soon. I mailed a detailed request for cancellation mentioning all the agony I have experienced.

    8. On 12th Feb, 2010, having got no calls from Myway, I called them to know the status. I was told that they don’t have access to check emails and they need to raise a request for cancellation. So, my cancellation request was given on 12th Feb Req No. 0003

    9. On 15th Feb, Myway fellow called me and asked for recharging my a/c. They don’t even know that I asked for cancellation. He asked the reason, I explained him all the story and also told that I’ve been charged Rs.1600 for the modem by BSNL. He said he’ll be mailing a letter to my email and I need to show that at BSNL office to get the refund and also asked if he could send anyone for collecting the recharge amount. I said first let me get modem amount refunded. As expected, the email never came and I had to pay the BSNL bill with late charges waiting for his mail.

    10. On 3 April 2010: I called Myway and talked to Nikhil. He said he’ll forward the issue on priority basis. I made it clear that I have completely lost faith in Myway and that they have to give a post-dated cheque for the refund before I handover the set-top box to them.

    All the calls and emails are going to deaf ears. They dont even bother about them.

    Till date, no one from myway has ever bothered to call me. They called me only once and that was to remind me to recharge my account.

    What I have lost:
    1. The Rs.1500 I paid in cheque to them.
    2. The Rs.1600 for Type-II modem, which they said will be refunded by BSNL
    3.The mental peace and trust in BSNL

    Default refund money from bsnl my way

    dear sir,
    there is a my way connection on trail to my bsnl no-0512 2321512 in my name Ramesh Kumar
    R/O 356, Rail Bazar,KANPUR.UP .

    iT'S TOTALY FAIL, I had done too maney complaints on telephone.

    I dont want to contenue this service in feuture so plz refund my RS.1500/ immediat.

    Question Myway IPTV refund of money

    I booked Myway BSNL-IPTV connection by paying a cheque of Rs. 2,000/- on 6.4.2010. The cheque was handed over to sales executive Mr. Rajnikanth (9227888552) who promised that connection will be installed and activated within 24 hours. Additionally, he took my original telephone bill for verification which he said he will return but has not returned till date. After that and till date (23.4.2010) no one has turned up and made the connection. In the meanwhile, I called up Myway's call centre (1860 22 69929) and Mr. Rajnikanth (9227888552) and asked for refund of money. I have been given complaint number 001, 002, 003 on different occasions and was told that issue will be escalated to higher ups. But despite all this till date I have not received the refund. nor anyone from MyWay has called up so far.

    I expect that money be refunded immediately with interest and penalty.

    I had applied for one month initial offer (Rs.50 chargable) of Myway IPTV on 12.05.2010 vide application no.10050391 paid handed over chq bearing no.364404 on Canara Bank for Rs.1700-00 to your representative who gave his name as Mr.Raju. I got the connection on 16.05.2010.

    Then I had opted for disconnection on 01.06.2010 for which I got call from the your office on 03.06.2010 informing my that my IPTV connection is cancelled. So far I have not received anything in writting or nor any email to this effect.

    Kindly refund my money .

    Dear Sir,
    I am a BSNL employee and so naturally I subscribed for BSNL IPTV in the month of April, 2010. The Executive from Myway gave a big Sales talk and promised the moon that too a blue moon. So many channels, free movies etc., etc.

    On outright purchase basis, he took a cheque for Rs.2,000.00 on the promise of full refund if not satisfied, within 3 months. Though it was all from Myway a licensee of BSNL I took the bait.

    What he did'nt tell me at that time was :-
    (1) I should get my Modem changed and that too on chargeable basis, with a four port one.
    (2) For BSNL employees Rs.500.00 discount is available on the booking amount.

    The contact Nos. given by him 66549731 (Rupa) and 9912005966 (Ravi) turned out to be wrong numbers.

    I opted for Telugu Pack which contains only two channels (Zee Telugu & Sapthagiri). What I will do with the rest of the 140-odd Channels.

    To my knowledge the 3-Months period should have expired on 10.07.2010. Now Myway people are calling me to recharge my Account. Whereis the question of Recharging when I have not paid any subscription in the first place. I took it on trial basis and Myway is just supposed to contact me to get my views and if I am not satisfied arrange to refund the Rs.2000.00 paid by me and that's it.

    Myway is regressive.

    For the last one week Myway people keep on calling (different people at different times) and I am fed up giving the same reply again and again.

    I do not want Myway Connection. Please arrange to refund my Rs.2,000.00, take back the four port Modem, give me the credit for the amount charged (by BSNL) and terminate the connection. Anyway, it is dead for the last one week.

    Thumbs down Cancellation not received the refunt - MyWay IP TV

    Hello Sir,

    I have requested for the cancellation of the MyWay IPTV connection during April and till today (August 11 2010) no action on this and not refunding my Security Deposit(Rs. 1500). I have sent continues reminders by mail and also called the help desk about same and getting the same response that within 48 hours it will be resolved. Please let me know how to approach the Consumer Forum on this.
