    Dear All,

    my customer ID is 3000023151

    This is a warning for all new airtel DTH customer that henceforth do not even think of Airtel DTH, dont ever suggest any one to buy airtel DTH as after sale service is pathetic, i would say eevn BSNL is far ahead in case of service comaparison. I got the first airtel DTH in Jammu. Recently i got transferred to chandigarh. befor coming to chandigarh i deposited Rs300 in their account and got slot for de installation, but no one visited my address and finally after regular follow up with the customer care i did de installation myself. Then while i was coming back to chandigarh i asked them to install my services next day. But a new era of manatal harassment started with the customer care. I specifically gave then then new address but they did not turned up. After 4 days of regular follow up i got call from backend team and he gave me the ZSM name and number. I called him up and even after following yup with him engineer came next day in evening.

    After around 6 days my set top stopped working and i complaint to them in morning and they said by same day evening it will be resolved. As usal no body turned up and i again made call to them in evening. The reply that i got was shocking they said " You were not there when there engineer visited home" . I asked which addres did you visited, they said Jammu. i said boss if i have installed your services at chandigarh what is the fun visiting jammu address. After this i had word with senior Pramod who convinved me that engineer will visit address in evening . At around 4 pm i received call from there backend team and he asked me what is the update. I asked you should be knowing and then he said your jammu address is locked. listening to this i got angry and i asked him to give his ZSM number so that i can talk to him. But to my amaze he abused me and hung up the phone.

    Now yesterday evening i have gone to dainik bhaskar and complaintd there. New will get pyublish today.

    As a information i am posting this post. Please BE AWARE FROM AIRTEL DTH. THE MOST PATHETIC SERVICE PROVIDER OF THE NATION.

    Hello,

    We have gone through your complaint and suggest you to send a written notice to the nodal office of Airtel DTH, as the customer care people are not able to solve your problem even after many followups, send it via registered post or via email, mention all the complaints no. in it. You can get the address from the customer care.

    Wait for 10-15 days for proper solution so that you will not face such problem again and again.

    Dear Sir,
    We got Airtel DTH as offer on buying Samsung LCD on 26 september 2009.We have bought
    2 LCDs and we called up the Airtel people to install one and get the second piece
    and informed them that we will install it later.The customer care people said that
    they will give us Dish only at the time of installation.We asked them so many times
    but we got the same reply from them.We also told them that the offer will end,but
    they said as we got the bill we need not worry and we can install it any time.But
    now when are calling and asking them for installation they are saying us that offer
    is completed and they are not responsible.
    Is this is the way to behave with the customers.They don't even feel to guide us in
    a proper way.They are least bothered as they got the money.
    Kindly request you to do the needfull as early as possible.We are having all the
    bills and voucher card and also installation of the first Dish too.

    Default Useless Airtel Digital TV (DTH) and its team

    I got Airtel Digital TV (DTH) from the Coimbatore Dealer, even 3 days after payment and installation we could see nothing on the TV. No one could intimate us what was wrong with Airtel i.e. either by the Dealer or the Retailer. My calls to the Customer Care Centre proved a great waste of time and energy and no one was to take any responsibility in solving the problem.

    My sincere advise to one and all is not to buy Airtel Digital TV, especially from Coimbatore Dealer / Agent, who are irresponsible, rude, arrogant in nature.

    Unhappy airtel dth services

    i got the airtel dth services in the on 31st october 2009 at bangalore. i had taken 6months package offer south mega (kannada top up). alongwith this i had taken prepaid card of discovery, cartoon network, ngc, animal planet, pogo for 2 months. after 2 months of usage i did not want to activate the above channels. so i did not go for activation. but as per their 6months offer package they should provide all kannada channels till 30th april 2010 without any re-activation. but, now zee kannada, u2, kasturi channel are not activated. on complaining to customer care centre they insist we activate the discovery plus channels and till then the kannada channels don't get activated. this is ridiculous. i will activate it if i need to do. it is not binding on me to activate the discovery plus channels. but the kannada channels should be provided till april 2010. the customer care centre does not bother to attend to our complaints. kindly look into the matter urgently.

    Default Airtel DIGITAL TV very bad service

    I had purchase one digital TV connection in Pune.
    I want to shift connection from Pune to Surat and call customer care on 13 Jan 2010 and pay 300.00.
    He had give time for de installation 9.00 am on 14 Jan 2010, but no one reached at our home.
    than after i had call many time to your customer care but no one give response
    Your customer care supervisor Mr. Vikash say we are not responsible and call nodal office 022 40213261
    and he say if you want to go in consumer forum.
    i had also try to connect with given no. many time but no one received the phone.

    Default worst service of Airtel DTH

    My customer id is 3001550900. I had registered a complaint on 04/02/10, vide doc no : 1951782, but no one from Airtel has turned up to rectify the complaint.

    Again, on 06/02 I called up & registed another complaint vide doc no : 1965224, but in vein. When I called thro tolled no , some one says the system shows, : your compaint has been attended and thus closed.

    I wondered, without attending the compalints, how one could able to close my complaits in system. It means the concerened engineers negligence & irresponsible.... I feel this is a type of cheating the customer, even I paid money in advance ..

    I left this matter to the concerened authority to take severe action against the specific staff.

    HAS NOT REFUNDED MY AMOUNT OF RS. 1890/-. NEITHER HAVE THEY PROVIDED THE CONNECTION.

    THEY HAVE MECHANISMS OF EXTRACTING MONEY FROM CONSUMERS but NONE to REFUND.

    WELL, THESE ARE WHITE COLLAR CORPORATE CRIMES ACCEPTED IN INDIA.

    Angry Airtel just sucks our money and peace of mind

    Over the past three months, some one got my Airtel DTH package (3000758883) changed twice by placing a request in their call center. I realized it only when some of the channels disappeared. Called their call center and was informed that a request was placed by one Rachna first and then another guy later.

    You only need the registered mobile number of a subscriber to mess an Airtel Digital TV consumer's account. That's what happened both the times with me. Without my knowledge and consent, I was suddenly a subscriber of their three months advance rental package.

    Now despite a recharge of Rs. 550/- in the month of Feb 2010, I keep receiving messages that my account balance will be ending on 05 March. Called their call center four times on Wednesday 03 March and every support executive had the same excuse that some technical upgrade is going on so I should call after 30 minutes.

    The attendant to the third call was so smart that he just disconnected the call after wasting five minutes. And the fourth one tells me they can't accept my request and implement the changes later. I must call again and they'll be able to accept my request only if their systems are working. And Airtel doesn't reply to emails so easily.

    The money these companies spend on hiring bollywood stars to publicizing their faulty products and services should better be invested in areas that will benefit customers. Try viewing your account balance using the DTH service and it's always being upgraded.

    TATA Sky might have outdated technology compared to Airtel but at least their systems are not being upgraded 24 x 7. They actually provide customer service.

    very poor service, sevaral times we approached the customer service centre for recharging purpose, top up charging purpose, their response towards us was irresponsible, In this IPL season we want to see max channel so we sent message to 54325 but we could not able to connect we got a reply no default configured, we want to get this connection what we could do? all the people from Airtel not giving proper guidence to us, airtel's customer service number18001028080 is giving our balance details only. Please give us proper guidence. We only choose u because of the clarity, it is fantastic but please provide maximum +ve service
