    Thumbs down Uncaring Customer Care of Airtel DTH

    My customer Id 3000383480.

    In April'2010 i made a request that i was shifting residence and than going out of station for 2/3 months, please guide what should i do. After talking to 3 different persons who advised 3 different things all that was done from 5th april-8th april'10 was that the services were held in suspension and no relocation happened.

    I left Baroda on 8th , having vacated the old residence and shifting my baggage to the new location. From out of state again after rigorous follow up which included calls to some Delhi top boss, i was asked to deposit money (200/-) for relocation and also get the suspension revoked, only than anything could happen.

    So from a remote village in Punjab i somehow managed to deposit money in the Airtel account, coordinate with the local technical support people in Baroda and the previous landlord , the dish was finally removed on 18/19th April'10.

    On coming back to Baroda on 19th June , i again requested for re-installation of the dish and to my shock, i was told that i had to pay installation charges again-300/- or 600/- were the figures quoted by different people - the reason was that the money i had transfered in April HAD GOT DEDUCTED IN DAILY SUBSCRIPTIONS CHARGES AS AFTER THE DE-INSTALLATION OF THE DISH THE ACCOUNT HAD TO BE GOT SUSPENDED AGAIN.

    WHY NOBODY GUIDED ME OF THE CORRECT PROCEDURE IN THE FIRST PLACE IS A MYSTERY. ALSO WHEN THE DTH HAS BEEN REMOVED HOW CAN THEY CHARGE FOR SERVICES ? Anyways i put 500/- again and than too i had to take help of the dealer who had sold the DTH to me to get the job done - finally after 3/4 follow ups a day by me & the dealer the dtH was reinstalled on 23rd June at 8 pm at night.

    The money that was deducted from my account while the DTH was removed has still not been credited to my account. To top this horror on 9th july during the lightening the DTH , TV and a Fan got burned as the lightening got conducted through the DTH - while all the switches were off.

    So started another round of follow-ups , complaints and no service, no care of the customer.No one even listens- they just talk. Again it took them 8 days to come and take a look at the DTH, they took it with them and for the next 5/6 days all i did was register complaints, shout and get fed up. On 20th after again calling the local technical mgr Of Baroda , the DTH finally was installed at 9.30 at night.
    THE MONEY KEPT ON BEING DEDUCTED IN THE MEANTIME. GREAT , isn't it ?

    NOW I AM FOLLOWING UP FOR GETTING THE DEDUCTED MONIES CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT-- LET US SEE HOW LONG THAT TAKES ?

    P.S. in my building all those who had DTH connections got their TV & DTH burned that day--all the DTH players should take notice of that, i am yet to do something about that yet, any suggestions ? Pls respond at gurmin@gmail.com.

    myself ugesh ajmera.my customer i.d. is 3003715928. i am 4 months old customer of this airtel dth.i have 2 connection.my account validity is till 14 august 2010 so i called their cust.care to know about their offers for recharge on 10 august,i made three calls for that,first one was unable to understand about add on connection,second was mr.uday who was really a man without brain,using language like"jane kaha kaha se aa jate hain"and hung up the phone.a person like this in a company really pathetic.

    Default Complaint against Airtel DTH

    I had recharged my account on 10th May,2010 to avail the offer of getting 4 months subscription if I recharged for 3months. To my disbelief I came to know that the subscription is for 3 months only hence I need to recharge my airtel account by 12th Aug,10. Coming to know about the same I called up and spoke to Praveen Kumar Sahoo on 10th or 11th Aug,10 who informed me that the offer for pay 3months and avail 4 months subscription is not there at the moment hence he cannot help me. On being nasty with the officer and compelling him to connect with a senior, I was connected to a floor supervisor named Rahul who told me that he is taking a complaint and I would get a call in 48hrs. The deadline passed withou me having received any call. Post which I called up the helpline to discover that there was no complaint registered on my account.
    I have spoken to multiple officers in Airtels team to no avail.I have always been assured of some shit team will call me back however i havent received any calllback. Unilaterally Airtel has decided that my issue stands resolved and has sent me message regarding the same.

    I feel that the customer service team of Airtel is worthless and good for nothing. My airtel connection has been barred today at 12.35am, I need the issue to be resolved in the next 24hrs or I am going legal.

    my custmoer id is 3000387124 since iam giving complaints regularly to your custmoer care personnels through phone somany times since one mounth but no use , this is too worst to talk them because there are no proper shortcuts to talk with them directly ,they kept me in waiting somany time this lead to waste of my time which is very proudtive ,nobody taken care about my complaint ,never come forward to clear my problem that is my set of box not working, even when local cable operators giving service for very less charges ., you people not giving proper service though we are paying more when compare just because quality of picture .,
    is it such complicated problem if not ,this is so shame on you part of giving service
    please kindly suggest that what kind of response are you expecting from your custmoers

    Dear Sir,
    This to inform you that I have applied for DTHTV connection thru 12150 service provided by airtel.As per the customer care I have paid the amount thru my credit card as per IVR the amount of Rs.999/- has been debited from my account.
    I had been issued Transition ID:- 110026190 by customer care M/s.Dharani.On sunday i.e on 01stAug10 the engineer visited to my residence for the installation of DTH.After suyrveying the place the same was suppose to be put on the terrace but as the same cannot be done due to not allowing by our landlord the same was not installed.There by the technician has promised me that your money will be refunded to u.But till date the money has not been refunded due to continuosly touch with your airtel staff/customer care.Everytime they are promising me that u will receive the refund but till date nothing has been done.I have contacted Mr.Amit(9223550071)from technical dept who gave me the emial id as airtel.prospects@shelltransource.com but it seems it is getting bounced I do not understand why u are harrasing customer like this.I am an ex - serviceman and it is my hard earn money.Now it is the final call from my end as I feel it is a money eating services and not a customer services.Please revert as what action has been initiated by u.

    Airtel promise 100% network coverage but it is worst service provider. First of all it is the most expensive among all network. Their connection , recharge coupon are very expensive and they provide very low talk time compared to other network. They work properly till they are charging high call rate such as Re 1/min. and when to get any addition coupon to reduce call rate they start disconnecting the call in between within 1 min and it cost more then Re1/min.
    I am a business man and most of my work are night work. I have provided all my employees an airtel connection for better connectivity. I have recharge call rate reduction pack in my phone of Re 1/20 min. but non of my call reached even 2 to 3 min and my call get disconnected and they charge me Re1. This is the fucking service airtel is providing to there Indian customer. I dont recommend anyone to use airtel . And they also activate any service by their own and charge Rs 30 or 50. every month. I just wanna fuck this bharti airtel.

    I had a technical problem in my STB, and had given it for swapping as it is under warranty, but 17 days have passed but the company is not replacing my STB. No Positive response from Customer Service Support,they are just filing complaints and giving me Complaints Nos., but in the end the problem Stand UNRESOLVED. No Proceedings from Local distribution channels. My customer id for Airtel is 3001376729.

    i am tired of requesting them so knocked your Door.

    Hi

    I have purchased a panasonic plasma TV on 21st august 2010 in chennai. I was given a airtel DTH activation voucher along with this TV. Surprisingly the value of the activation voucher was not mentioned in the card ( this was surprised to airtel customer care people also). As mentioned in the activation card i contacted airtel call centre and i was told by them that if i want to have HD set top box i have to re-charge this voucher with Rs.840. as per this i have recharged Rs 840 through on line on 26th august. After this my fate is completely changes and i came to know how worst the airtel world is. After recharging i contacted their call centre and they said my offer is only for normal set top box and not for HD set top box. I am already having a reliance big tv normal set top box with me so there is no need for me to go for one more.Since i was told it is HD i made the re-charge. I told this to airtel and requested them to refund my amount of rs. 840. for which they were asking me so many details ( they have not asked me who is your wife etc. only) . Till today i have not received my money back. In fact i have recorded two of my conversation with airtel customer care which i want to use as evidance against them ( I told the customer care that i am recording the conversation).

    My request to all PEOPLE PLEASE FOR ANY REASON DONT GO FOR AIRTEL OR OTHERWISE YOU WILL GO TO HELL.
