I am really fed up of following up with customer care.
My custome ID is 3001997409.
From tuesday(20 April), I am not able to see any of the channels. That day, I thought, may be because of bad weather this problem.
Next day early morning I logged a complaint with them.
Customer care said, it will be resolved by 1.30pm.
After that everyday I only keep calling them, and everyday I only get promises saying somebody will call me and it will be resolved by 10.00am.
Today morning around 10.00 am when I called, I got an answer saying, I will get a call in a while, I waited for 2 hrs. Again called up customer care, to my surprise, they had nicely closed the call without attending it.
Again a new call was raised, which is not being attended till now.
Till when this opening and closing of call is going to happen without attending it?
Just couple of weeks back, they had disconnected connecteion because of some erratic data at their end. It took 10 days to resolve it.
Again this is 2nd time I am facing same issue. Are you going to compensate for those days we couldn't see TV?
Dear All,
I have got a very poor service .
I had booked for the DTH last friday, till now no engineer has called me for the installation.
As per the company service norms, installation happens within 48 hrs, but look this the status , it has been delayed for more than 80 hrs.
Whenever I give a call to the customer care, they give a false assurance that by evening it will be installed. this is the repeated statement I have been hearing past 4 days.
If that evening it is not done , next day morining when I give call , the only word I hear " SORRY MAAM "

My name is Mr. Himangshu Biswas, presently am a customer of Airtel DTH vide ID 3003643031.My service was stopped on 17 May 10 ( Error code 14) although my account is charged up to 04 July 10. All possible try was made by me to restore the service but no effort is made from Service provider and my service is still inactive till date i.e. 21.05.10.I am very upset and stunned with the response made by the service provider in this modern days.Please help and let me know the future of my DTH service.

i would say that u should not even suggest this horrible connection to ur enemies...
This is the worst service i have experienced.....
Forget post sales services they don't even provide pre-sales services...
For installation of the set top box they took around 7 working days and finally we got the dth....
But within a period of one month it started showing its colors.........first there was no signal with error code b001 which was supposed to be 10 minutes job for which i got resolution after 5 days of continuous follow up...and after talking to the managers....
I had to call them twice a day bcoz in morning they use to give me time for their service person to come at 2 pm who never use to come........then i use to get new time of 7.30 the process continued for 5 days....finally i got my connection
and the very next day i started getting service message from air-tel office that please recharge ur account as ur balance is running negative in-spite i had still 1 and half month of validity........ When i called customer care they said that is a technical error due to our team and would take 4 hours to resolve.........
But their 4 hours did not get over and i had to loose my cable connection, again a great procedure of daily follow ups.......finally those 4 hours lasted for 4 days........
But great luck not even one day was over after the resolution that same message appeared on my mobile......that i need to recharge my cable..........
When i called up c-c they said i have never ever called them since the day i have taken their connection (3 months back) for any kind of complaint or issue with their service...
Any how these don't provide service......... Apart from that they lie that's another great thing these guys do.......!!!!!!
M still waiting for the issue to b resolved......
God knows if they really can get me a solution......?????
I would request all u people never ever even dream of going for air-tel dth.........!!!!!!
U will regret if u get this connection in ur home.........!!!

I booked the installtion on 11th June 2010 and customer care told that engineer will visit on 13th June 2010 and will do the installation. Today it is 16th June 2010, but no engineer turned up and after calling customer care again & again, they only give one more complaint number without solving any previous complaints. This is pathetic service given by Airtel hence I advice all customers not to buy Airtel DTH services.
This is the warning to all who are going for AIRTELL DTH PLease don't prefer AIRTELL its one of the worst service provider. Just wanted to make new customer

My Cust ID 3001961481 and my set top box has not been functioning since June 21, 2010. In this connection, initially the call centre guys indicated that the problem would be rectified within 24 hours. I have been calling the customer service ever since and I am sure they would have recorded messages, but the problem is not rectified. I have received calls from their Delhi / Gurgaon office also but the problem is not rectified even now.
Subsequently, I have mailed messages to Maharashtra Nodal officer email id who is simply forwarding a recorded message everytime any mail hits that ID. After that there is no follow up.
In the meanwhile, I would have spent atleast over 5-6 hours and Rs. 200/- calling these people who simply promise but don't deliver. The engineer called up one day from the no. 9561092272 and asked the problem. On communicating the problem, he says that the problem can be rectified by paying Rs. 100/- to which I agreed. But he never turned up. On checking, he says that he has not been asked to visit. He also says that there are no targets for them and they can do as they please. He further indicated that he alone has to handle these many problems. He is simply refusing to rectify the problem.
I have missed all the important matches of World Cup which I had to watch on the net and suffer the lack of broadband speed. On the other hand, daily balances of my prepaid amount with Airtel is reducing without my enjoying the benefit.
On July 04, 2010, the call centre says that I would have to go in for a new complaint and hence another complaint no. 3211272 has been generated.
I have kept records of the mails which I have forwarded to Nodal officer and the complaint no.s are as mentioned above.
How can the company not provide service in a developing metro like Pune. I want the company to pay for its inefficiency.

i am having so many problems from this AIRTEL dth.
1. When i called to customer care first time they told me that you are under warrentee upto 26.10.10 & our service provider will give you free service ( compalin registration no. is 2423367 dt.16.07.2010). he assured me that before 01.30 pm your complain will be solved.
2. Thier service provider called me on phone(from service center phone no. 0294-2529241)that you have to pay
100/- Rs. service charge(aage se order aaya hai) and also wait for 3-4 days.
3. Again when i called customer care about service charge they told me that either you have pay or we will detect form your account (on the same day one represntative is assuring for free and prompt service and another is charging for service.
4.Last month i recharge my account and recived massage on 14/06/2010 that recharge succesfull and
transction id is 2071851691. After three days on 17.06.2010 massage recived by AIRTEL dth that "aaj apka Airtel digital tv cust. id 3001902354 ki sewayen negative balance ke karan band kiya jata hai. kripya sheegra recharge karen."
I have to wait for 24 hrs to start my tv.( After my complain they recharge my accont and sent me massage that " If you are satisfied by our service please SMS <SAT> to 54325)
