    Default Conflicting replies from Airtel customer service executives

    I had a bad expirience with airtel customer care executives.
    My id is 3005015134. and I wanted to upgrade my package to super ultra.

    When I called the customer care Airtel I was told by one of the executives that it would be done in one hour as there is some technical issue.
    I waited for one whole day and nothing happened.
    Next day when I call up Customer care another person tells me that the package cannot be changed as there is no scope for upgradation and it has been exhausted for which I thanked him and I gave him indiividual channel numbers which he latter added to my existing package.

    I am surprised why the first person gave me wrong information.

    Default Airtel DTH poor video

    Hi I have one month old DTH connection which was give as a part of Sony offer . from past month I have launched 10 complaints on poor quality of airtel DTH video , so far no one from airtell has turned up to resolve this they only take the complaint and close the same after days with out any inspection at the site please help

    Default Airtel-Worst DTH Service Provider...

    Hi ,

    Airtel DTH has the worst customer service ever.

    I had raised a complaint on the 19th of May for STB not working, your engineer attended to the problem after 5 days.

    Everytime we call the customer service number, either the call gets dropped or the agent puts it on long hold and disappears. Last time to reach an agent I had to call almost 16 times to get through.

    ON the 4th of June the STB is not working again, I raised a complaint and there is no sign of your engineer again and customer service is as poor as ever.

    When I had bought the connection, the engineer came within 4 hours to fix it..so you just know to sell..no after sale service..

    Evrytime your customer service only gives one reply...engineer will attend your problem shortly..the shortly never happens.

    Default Airtel Problem

    Airtel service is the worst.
    I am having problem with my receiver (set top box) which was already replaced one month ago by paying 500rs. It’s again not working. It’s been 4 working days (excluding weekends) that I don’t have entertainment at home. If I call customer care call drops when executive picks up the phone, even if I select as preferred language as English IVR takes me to Hindi speaking executive. It’s a very big mistake that I have done taking Airtel.
    My customer id is 3000897788. If any one from Airtle is watching this site then please solve my problem.

    Thumbs down Airtel bad customer care service and worst company

    Dear Airtel team,

    My customer ID is 3008117371.
    I wonder why customer care ever exists in this company, when the company doesnot care for the customer.
    the follwing have made me conclude this decision.

    1. i have booked airtel digital tv connection on June 1st week (though there are other more economical/with more offers service providers). but I chose Airetel, as heard about its good service (which is not true ofcourse)
    2. The money has been transferred through credit card on same day
    2a. repeated calls were made but customer care executaives think that they can handle everything well, they didot bother to register anything, donot revea; the proper information, and if only were shouted, then they relase the gravity of situatiion and transfer teh call to higher authorities
    3. but the connection was installed on june 12th..after repeated calls ( the delay in installation-beacuse company doesnot have white cable and its the responsibilyt of the customer to buy the avaliable stock, so that the company can clear its inventory and the customer care cannot oordinate with the database)
    4. after the installation till this date (June 14' 2011) the TV screen is blank (no error message/no programe)
    5. I have made repeted calls (~ >20 calls) and have also mailed them. but till date no response.
    6. The engineers don't know how to talk and behave to customers.. were rude and showed off attitude of working in Airtel , as if we damn care). didinot bother to wait and check if the proper installation is done/ or customer os satisfied.
    7. I have asked many times for money refund ( but as we all know money once gone cannot come back),the customer care executves replied that the request has been initated (but ofcourse not). you are asked to hold call for long time.
    8. is our time not precious/ or do u assume who so ever has airtel connection stays at home, infront of their screen all day nd has all the time on earth to chat with airtel people.

    Do ypu people have any expalantion for all your rude, unsymphatetic and irresponsile behaviour. How are you planning the cost of our suffering and the damage caused by Airtel.

    Question Setup box is not working more than 5 days still no response from Airtel customer care

    Hi,

    My name is Hemant , I have launched a complaint regarding my Airtel Dth setup box that it is not working properly, and they assured me that my problem will be resolved within a day but now there is more than 5 days but problem did not get resolved, I have contact customer care several times but some times they said there server is down so they can't do any thing and some time they said we again forward your complaint , but again there is no result.
    Now I become fed up with their responses so Kindly suggest what I can do..
