Airtel digital tv | complaint | 3010444359 Hi,
I had bought airtel digital tv in the month of june, 2012 and from day one i have been facing one problem or the other. Initially my account was updated with wrong dob and address. It took me almost 15 days after so many follow ups (through email and phone), to get the dob and address updated in my account.
Now, i am stuck up with few problems which no one is bothered to understand and rectify. I am calling every other day to check the status of my complaint, but unfortunately the customer care people keep on asking me the complaints every time. They do not have the details of my complaint in their records. Also, when asked about the list of complaints registered by me, they are telling me some other complaint which i did not register.
Also, suddenly my name and address got updated with someone else name and address. Somehow, i managed to get my address updated but i am still stuck with the name updation. They are everytime telling me that name updation is not possible and i have to use this name only.
Also, i have not received the holiday gift voucher and reebok watch which was promised to be sent to me (offer with airtel digital tv)
Also, my account is showing an incorrect monthly charges of 400+ whereas when enquired over phone the customer care executive confirms it to be somewhere around 200+.
Please can someone help me in resolving the above problems. I have totally lost faith in Airtel digital tv and will not suggest airtel products to anyone in the future.
Also, the customer care executives do false commitments, do not know how to talk to a customer, have no ettiquates and has poor communication.

why disconnect the tamil channels? dear sir/madam
we are from sri lanka, we have airtel digitel tv, our customer ID is 3004498765, already we have 20 tamil channels, it's working well more than one year, but now we have only 8 tamil channels,why happened like that? we recharge on time. please take care of this problem.

Complaint Numbers 22805611 & 22906535 Airtel is at its best when it comes to fleecing customers & making money from helpless customers. Right from below to top in Bharti Enterprises are deaf & have those murky eyes on the money that you have in your pocket clearly justifying their new slogan "jo tera woh mera hai or joh mera hai woh mera".
In my incidence, My set top box was pushed for the software upgradation without taking the consent from the customer on a rainy day knowing very well that such technology does not work in cloudy overcast sky, Due to this my set top box used to go for upgradation every time I switched on despite giving enough 6 to 7 hours for loading of new software.
To resolve this issue I was told that I need to get the set top box replaced for which I have to pay the money, to this I clearly denied since it was none of my fault & neither I had chosen to upgrade the software. I have asked to them to refund the money which is lying in my account so that I could discontinue my relationship with them. Even that is refused.
Complaints logged since 28th August 2012 have not been resolved & I receive the SMS stating that my problem has been resolved. People within the organisation have very little to do except for begging that money which has been directed by the senior management of Airtel.
Management itself does not come forward as their call center does not provide the necessary contact details.
I wish Airtel all the best in their effort to fleece the customers by hook or by crook.
To all my friends who have Airtel Connections, please leave this company & opt for any other vendor, I am satisfied with Local dubbawala cable operator & also with Vodafone & MTNL for mobile & Internet Connection respectively.

dissatisfied with service of dth Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Very much dissatisfied with the after sales service of your airtel digital tv .From last 5 days i am trying to contact your executive for re-locating my connection but he replied every time that he is busy & can not come to re-locate the connection .Your customer service no's also not working ,its get disconnect every time when call is being transfer to executive . We are not expecting this kind of customer service from airtel & airtel is providing this kind of service to their customers then sorry to say this but others competitors are providing better after sales service than you.
So kindly look in to the matter & an early action is expected.

Airtel DTH not responding from past 2 weeks about my complaint Air tel ID: 3007475063 resolve my issue free of cost
Hello,
My name is Yesuraj I am with your Digital Tv connection for more than 1 year. Initially after installation I have faced many problems and I have raised many complaints and even went to consumer court to claim.. finally the issue resolved. After few month of installation they have replaced my New setup box with the old one and also the old VC. I was facing many problem from then. Now for a week I was unable to view the tv because of the VC and setup box problem I have raised 2 complaints with the reference no: 23372140 & 23414357. Two of them visited my place the first person asked me Rs 350 to resolve the problem and the 2nd person asked me Rs 500. I told them since it was your replaced setup box problem I am not paying even a single penny. They told me to raise a complaint to consumer court and went away.
Note: Now I request Airtel to resolve my problem with free of cost with high priority and refund the last 1 month subscription. Since I was facing problem for the entire month.
I am hoping for the best solution from the consumer court.

no signals at starting of tv d/sir,
it is requested that at starting of my set of box ,it will take app. 5 minute to get start my tv . a complain also done a day before but none action has been taken till now .pl do the needful.
