    I have a Dish TV connection in my native village near Mannargudi, Thiruvarur D.T, Tamil Nadu.( Reg No. 01505704943) The connection was not working properly. when reported to the local agent. He has asked us to bring the receiver to their facility to check. They have corrected and the receiver was reinstalled. Within one month again the receiver is not working. when we reported to the dish TV agent he is saying that they have more than 5000 connections and they can not come and check the device supplied by them. After few calls they were asking for Rupees 200.00 to come and check the receiver. I have informed them if the mistake is our side we are ready to pay. If it is their side why should I pay. This was not accpeted by them as well. Again no response from the agent. As my mom lives alone now in the village I have asked friend of mine to report again. Now even after agreeing to pay the charges 200.00 no one has turned up till date.

    How do i take action against them for not servicing us as they promissed. I would like to cancell the subscription and go for a more reliable operator who can give better service. If I cancell the subscription will I get the money back.

    This is in the above context I would like to draw your attention that my Dish TV is
    not working properly due to disalignment. Accourding to your customer care executive
    Deepak and Rohit senior to Deepak. I have to pay Rs. 150/ to set it right. But in
    August it was disaligned due to heavy rain or storm.It is disaligned again within
    two months. If nature is disaligning dish than company has to bear this amount. Why
    should I have to pay ? Eighter dish is not attached on proper location or your
    engineer was inefficient. If action the is not taken with in two days. I have to go
    to consumer court.DISH KARO WISH KARO, YEH SAB BAKWAS HAI, BHOLE BHALE LOGON KO

    DISH TV the worst nightmare as on 2nd July, 2011

    I have a dish TV connection with me since last couple of years. There was no complaint in services since then. But this year is full of complaints. We have called their engineer for aligning the disk in the month of February 2011. To our shock the engineer first told us the problem is not from dish but of the set top box, then of the wire , then of the LNB then of the dish. We requested him to leave, and again requested DISH TV to send in some qualified engineer. Again the person came, fiddled around with DISH and no help. Finally a gentleman came from dish TV who aligned the dish in 5 minutes. All was working fine till about a month when we had to call the engineer again.

    Last 4 months we have called the engineers every month, and every month it gets out of alignment.

    I again recharged the last Saturday 02/07/200 with RS.700/- and discovered the dish is not working. I have been calling them again and again, speaking with different person at all times
    -> Every time i meet a new person and have to narrate the story all over again
    -> They put me on hold with nothing happening
    -> They offer to call back, bu i never got any call back
    -> When i do get lucky to reach so called senior - he request for 24 hours for my resolution (Nothing happening - their 24 hours has expanded to 8 days so far and i dont know how long it would go)
    -> They wont return my money (Have said it clearly)
    -> They are incapable to offer service
    -> You waste minimum 1 hour daily calling them up and waiting anxiously for the reply.
    -> Their so called engineers are not qualified and would exploit you of your ignorance/ lack of knowledge, by offering you to replace dish, or wire, or connectors or LNB or whatever.
    -> They have no identification with them and can pose a serious threat to your family/ house, because the enter your premises.
    -> They have no proper equipment to align the dish - maybe a set top box from Door Darshan (DD) to align your disk.
    -> The way the handle your delicate equipment like LCD, cables, other attached equipments etc. would surely make other equipment losses including scratches, malfunctioning etc.
    -> They wont explain the problem or what they did with your complaint - they wont explain the resolution. At the best they can offer you AMC of the dish.




    TO CONCLUDE
    DISHTV is pure waste of money with no services.
    A kiryana store in the neighborhood can give you better services.


    I can only say that that i want my money returned for no services offered.
