    Exclamation Airtel Digital TV

    I had registered a complaint against our digital TV regarding the re positioning of the antenna as the current position was being obstructed. Its been 5 days since then and we have kept calling the customer care 5 times a day to remind them of our complaint but they don't even care to look at the complaint once. The daily amount is getting deducted from our account without any delay even though we have not been using the TV for the last one week due to the signal obstruction but when it comes to repairing they pay no heed. I had to finally turn to consumer court for help so that these gays dont repeat this behavious with anyone in the future.

    Dear Ms. Nishi,

    To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.

    Default Airtel DTH Complaint#: 1154450:Channels not coming

    Hi,

    I have taken Airtel DTH connection on 2nd Oct,2009 in
    Ejipura(Bangalore) for Rs. 1750 containing 3 years 'Rest of India-New
    Value' channel package and is assigned customer Id: 3001602805. The
    technical team installed the setup and antenna on that day itself, but
    I could not see any channel, only help channel 999 is coming; getting
    Error Code=4 stating 'You are not authorized to view this channel'. A
    complaint number 1154450 is issued. The technical team changed the
    cable wires and set up box but problem did not resolve. Next day (3rd
    Oct), I got a call from local technical team stating that activation
    is not done properly, will resolve it by today night; they worked till
    9 PM on that day but could not solve it, getting same error message.
    Technical team communicated that they will look into it tomorrow. Next
    day (4th Oct), 2 technical engineers came to my place and tried to fix
    it , but all in vain; I forced them to let me talk to their
    supervisor. Supervisor communicated that he will come at 3 PM to
    resolve my isue and shared his contact number.
    Nobody turned up so again I called him but his mobile was switched
    off. I called customer care but they conveyed complaint is opened and
    some team will come to fix it...!!!!...but till now nobody has
    come..!!!
    This is really frustratung and extremely painful that such a
    prestigious brand is spoiling its own name. I w do not know when they
    are going to fix it and how many times I need to follow up with them.
    I hope this nightmare ends soon and I do not have to repent more.
    I will not suggest any people to buy this worst DTH service.Please
    suggest a way to have these people take my issue seriously.

    connection in the name of wasi ansar.and my cust id is 300015886,

    I feel very shame to write this mail on your part that being so big company of
    yours you have totally failed in terms of customer satisfaction ,i have been
    frequently making complaints to your customer care for not recieving your connection
    ,and every time I have been mislead with you customer care,I have lodged the
    complaint on 01-10-09 and I have been told that my problem will be solved on the
    same day before 2:30 p.m,which u have failed to solved .
    consider it as serious & solve my problem at the earliest.

    Dear Sir

    This is my second mail regarding the above subject. Till the date I

    have not got installation irrespective of the promise of Airtel customer care
    executive(which you can also find at the last of this mail), which came after my
    first mail. Now I have been left

    with no option but to sue your organization.

    Here is my last mail:--

    I would like to present myself in the deep state of sorrow that I
    have purchased one conection of Airtel Digital TV as kit no. 3110
    8317 5083 3067 and Activation Code 1302 0909 5957 4849 on date
    04.10.2009 via Rajat Electronics Chandigarh Road, Opp. Vardhman,
    Ludhiana, who promised me the installation by today or by yeserday
    in every case.

    I have recieved one call today in today morning at 11.18 AM regarding

    installation of Digital TV and time given to them was 7 PM as my office get close at
    7 PM but no-one came or installation.

    On asking to Airtel Office Ludhiana they said they are sending service

    Engineer but no-one came for it.

    On asking Airtel Marketing Executive Mr. Gaurav He said that He is going to talk
    with Mr. Lalit Head service, Ludhiana for installation.

    Mr. Lalit told me a new story that today None of the connection could be installed
    throughout India due to technical problem which is non-digestable for us as such a
    big organization like Airtel can't have such problem that promises customers various
    facilities time to time.

    I am also a old customer of Airtel, usinf its services fromvery long time.

    I am requesting to you kindly provide me immidiate installation and
    compensation of Rs 100,000 (One Lacs Only) for passing through this state of panic
    so much.

    Hope you will consider my complaint positively and provide me the desired compensation.

    Default Airtel Digital TV Site not getting updated with latest packages and Top ups

    I would like to bring to the kind notice of Airtel authority that your customer care and your site is not talking the same language with regard to the package and topups. Could i request u to kindly look into this and keep your site updated as we don't want an Indian company to fall of from the image which they are carrying on with the customer.

    Hope this will be take up soon and resolved.

    Angry Airtel digital tv company is cheating public with its brand name

    Our customer id 3000097985.
    We had filed a ticket 1 week back that we are not getting any signal.
    There is absolutely no response from airtel.
    Today when we check the status of the ticket the ticket has been closed and problem is still there.
    For the whole week they have been deducting the amount.

    Today we tried to call the call center and they are disconnecting the call as soon as we ask
    the person about the status of the ticket !!!!!
    In the name of its brand they are cheating the public.

    Because of this reason we have decided to return the box though we have subscribed for the entire year.
    And we have also decided to stop all other airtel products that we have purchased like mobile and broadband.

    This is the most pathetic digital tv company which does not value customers time and money.

    My customer ID is 3001062476, for the past 3 days im trying to get an uninstallation done from my Old residence and an installation done in my New residence:
    1. Called Airtel DTH and placed an order # 30723662 on 14th March 2010.
    2. Engineer called stating that uninstallation he will uninstall by 5pm 14th March 2010 and another engineer will complete the installation at 10 am 15th march 2010. However no engineer came.
    3. placed a complaint with Airtel and spoke to Bharathi from escalation team, in course of conversation Bharathi mentioned "Uninstall the equiptment yourself and/or throw out the Airtel Box and accessories". {not the exact words but the same meaning}. However was promissed that the installation will be completed by 3pm 15th March 2010.
    4. Contacted at 4pm by engineer stating that he will be there for uninstallation in 30 mins, when i called the engineer was informed that he will be there in 45 mins. and so this went up till 8pm 15th March 2010.
    5. at 8pm 15th March 2010 engineer called saying "sir its late, ill come and complete both uninstall and install of the Dish and Cable at 9am 16th March 2010.
    6. chased engineer for eta, however at 11am 16th march 2010, engineer has not come.
    7. called Airtel Customer care and spoke to supervisor Sundeep who took engineers number, Placed me on hold and no answer after that. Was on hold for almost an hour till i got disgusted and cut the call.

    I want some action taken against AIRTEL DTH as "THIS IS THE HIEGHTS OF PATHETIC SERVICE, THERE IS NO SENCE OF RESPONSIBILITY AND TIME MANAGEMENT AND NEITHER IS THERE ANY CUSTOMER RESPECT, IF THEY RESPECT CUSTOMERS THE ABOVE MENTIONED WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN PLACE"

    Note: it is 12:33pm 16th march 2010 and no sign of the engineer.

    Dear Aitel Digital Stake holders,

    Please improve your service else the Brand loyalty you have built over a decade will be lost.

    I raised a complaint for low signal (resulting in unclear video) with my secondary connection on 19h Mar 2010. To my surprise SR raised is resolved without even calling/visiting the customer. Since, 19th Mar every 2 days I have to call up your Customer Care and get another SR raised, which again get closed/resolved the next day. You keep me informed of an SR raised/resolved via SMS but your field engineer has not even called once.

    Your Nodal number (011-44985547) for Delhi is not answered and after forwarding the call to a number and an sweet RBT is played and then call end with a message the number you are calling is busy. I’ve called this number at least 15-20 times during office hours in last 9 days.

    Sir if u not reply me I think you will not provide me any type of help
    I want to ask you one question PLEASE don't irritate.
    What is the warranty of the set top box?
    It is only for the 6 MONTH.
    On the 21 April your service engineer come and reinstalled my
    Antenna, But that's not solve my problem your service engineer tell
    me that your set top box is not working / out of order and we have to
    troubleshoot it.

    I am purchases it in 03 JULY 2009. your engineer come to us and told me that your set top-box out of order and it is not working they told me to replace it or we have to repair it , and told we will come in half an hour but no one come yet it passes 3-4 days.
    It is harassment of customer and it is not fair. So sir I request you to please send the charges applicable for the replacement of our set top box because if the charges affordable to me.
    So i purchase it from you other wise I didn't want to purchase it and REPEAT AGAIN A BIG MISTAKE.
    Please do needful action as well as Possible.

    This is really frustrating and extremely painful that such a
    Prestigious brand is spoiling its own name. I do not know when they are going to fix it and how many times I need to follow up with them.
    I hope this nightmare ends soon and I do not have to repent more.
    I will not suggest any people to buy this worst DTH service. Please
    Suggest a way to have these people take my issue seriously.

    My customer id is 3002583193. i have been requesting for a relocation for the past one week. Every time i used to call up at the call centre, i was given a complaint no. and was given a time when the same would be solved. But then there is no response for the same after i end the call. I would just want that if a solution is not feasible then the same should be communicated on the phone itself. The customers should not be kept waiting for something which even all the employees of airtel know that could not be done.
