Airtel Direct to Home (DTH) complaint Hi,
I am Subash. Initially I was planning to buy new Airtel DTH connection through online Rs.1590 pack , where the offer is Rs.250 cash back + South mega 1 months free subscription + Yatra.com coupon worth Rs.1500. So to clarify some doubt, I called the customer care 12148 and one Mr.Puppinder (customer care executive in 12148) said that if I buy the DTH through them I will get free two month South mega pack subscription but I need to pay Rs.1640. So I paid Rs.1,640 for the connection on 12.6.2012 through the link sent by customer care division(ref the mail attached). I have been promised by Puppinder that I will get Rs.200 cash back + South mega 2 months (Ref attachment) free subscription + Yatra.com coupon worth Rs.1500.

After the installation and activation of connection I got a message from Airtel that I got only 30 days free south mega pack against promised 2 months free subscription. Even after my repeated enquiry there was no proper response from Airtel. Now I am unable to contact the cusomer executive. Whenever I try, it says to SMS "CALL" to 54325. I did that also, but no one is bother to call me. I have also sent mail to Digitaltv@in.airtel.com, but there also no proper response. No clue where to escalate further. I have been following it this for almost one month and I got frustated by the behaviour of customer care. Airtel closed my complaint as resolved without solving the problem. Amount may looks smaller but it is not a question of money, it is a question of trust. I feel I have been cheated.
Following are my concern
1. I have received message from Airtel that I got only 30 days free south mega pack against promised 2 months free subscription.
2. I got Rs.200 cash back offer, but it expires before the free subscription period of 2 months. No use of having Rs.200 cash back
3. I am yet to get Yatra.com free coupon.
Kindly help to get the offer as promised by Airtel.

Airtel Direct to Home (DTH) complaint Still the issue is pending and you are saying that it has been resolved without providing any solution. Strange.
Can you please tell me how it was resolved? Neither I have not the addional package as promised nor I have received the refund.

Airtel DTH - If yu are planning to get a new connection please read this !!!! Hi
PLEASE READ MY EXPERIENCE BEFORE TAKING AN AIRTEL CONNECTION - PLEASE HELP YOURSELF !!!
My Customer ID is 3010539452
I wanted to get a new connection, so called the customer care 12148 and one Mr.Vinay (Sales Team - customer care executive in 12148) said that if I buy the DTH through them I will get free two month South mega pack (one month Ultra pack) subscription is I paid Rs.1640. So I paid Rs.1,640 (Thro' net) for the connection on 20.6.2012 through the link sent by customer care division(from one Mr. Rupesh Dutta's desk). I have been promised by Vinay that I will get Rs.200 cash back + South mega 2 months (Ref attachment) free subscription.
After the installation and activation of connection (on 22-06-2012) I got a message from Airtel that I got only 30 days free south mega pack against promised 2 months free subscription. Even after my repeated enquiry there was no proper response from Airtel.
For the past one week I have been calling Airtel (1860 500 6500 / 12148 / 1800 102 8080 / Local Nodal Office)to no effect.One Mr. Hariharan 9840615405 (his contact was provided by Airtel Customer Service, otherwise how would I know his number) says that he will not deal with customers who have placed order thro' net and only deal with customers thro' local dealers and is also not helpful in guiding me on how to solve this issue.
From 08 Aug'2012 midnight, I'm gettin a blank screen on my TV and the message pop-up says "Account suspended due to Negative Balance".
Finally I called 12148 and pretended to enquire about a new connection, when Mr. Vinay (The ever elusive!!) turned up on line and promised that connection will resume. He is one of the worst kind of sales / marketing person I fear to meet in my life. All sugar and sweet when selling and then the vanishing act (the other customer service officers even pretended like he has left the job), but when I talk about a taking a new connection he is on the line.
After that I have been calling every half hour, every time a new customer service officer (Heena / Jai / Rupen / Saravanan, etc.) picks up and hear the whole story again and say they will connect to the supervisor, puts us on hold for 10 - 20 mins (Am calling from Chennai and this is Bangalore / Mumbai - imagine the cost) but finally disconnects.
Becoz of this I have decided to wait and see or else witdraw all airtel connections at home (2 mobiles, landline, broadband, dth).
