My Name is Lt Col Gaurav Sharma. I reside at " P 167, Anuj Vihar, Vasant Ranges, Rao
Tularam Marg, Delhi 110010.
1. On 25th Aug 2009, i received a call on my number 011 26144235 from Mr Neelkhant
Sharma , Sales person of IPTV and he marketed and gave me details of taking an IPTV
connection.

2. He siad that the connection would be activated in 5 working days of application.
Aslo he offered 3 months free package along with this.

3. After lot of convincing from him, I agreed and he sent his representative to
collect a cheque in favour of "Smart Broadband Services " For Rs 1000/- dated 26th
Agug 09 and cheque no 841328 of ICICI Bank.

4. I filled Customer Application Form No. 60002164 and gave it along with a address
proof as required.

5. After paying the money to my surprise I did not hear from IPTV for a week.
Finally when with great difficulty I got in touch with Neelkhant Sharma he gave me
the number of Mr Nishant , Sales Engineer of IPTV.

6. Mr Nishant promised that the connection would be done in 2 days on 1st of Sept 09.

7. I also kept calling the customer care number 18602669929 of IPTV and the
executives kept promising every new day that within 2 days the connection would be
installed.
The names of these executives are as follows:
Mr Abhijeet, Mr Inderjeet, Mr Pankaj and Miss Sushmita. I must have spoken
altogether19-20 times on various occassions to them from 1st sept 09 to 14 Sept 09.

8. In the meanwhile Mr Nishant stopped attending my phone calls.

9. With great difficulty when I got in touch with him, he gave me the number of one
Mr Nagpal, of IPTV on 5th Sep 09.

10. When i spoke to Mr Nagpal, he promised me that connection would be installed by
the 8th of sept 09.

11. When nothing happened till 10th Sept 09, I tried calling all 3 i. e. Neelkahnat,
Nishant and Nagpal. They just wouldnt attend my numerous calls.

12.Finally when with great difficulty I called up Nagpal, he put me on conference
call with Mr Aditya, Technical head of IPTV who promised that the connection would
be installed by 12th Sept. 09

13. When nothing happened on 12th morning, i spoke to Nagpal and treathened Legal
complaint. He sent a Technical engineer Mr Vipin of IPTV with a set top box to my
residence.

Mr Vipin , on arrival at my residence at 1500 hrs told me very honestly and frankly
that this IPTV connection "WILL NOT WORK AT MY PLACE" and that all the four
gentlemen mentioned above, Neelkhant, Nagpal, Nishant and Aditya were aware of this
right from the beginning. He has even given this in writing to me . In the meanwhile
even my cheque was already encashed by IPTV.

When I spoke to Nagpal and Nishant they said " Sir, this happens all the time. Just
forget it and take a refund".
I havent received any refund so far.

I am totally aghast at the behaviour of the employees of MTNL and IPTV. When they
knew that a IPTV connection was not feasible why did they market for it in first
place and thereafter encash my cheque.

This whole issue has caused me financial and mental trauma . Also I am sure these
people are doing this to many more innocent customers.

I want to take legal action against IPTV and MTNL and the above mentioned people so
that this is not repeated. I also not only want my refund but also appropriate
compensation for all the trouble caused to me.

Dear Sir,

In this concern, Kindly send a written complaint to the Co. Head Office. Give them a time frame of maximum 15 days to give you solution in that time frame. Also mention that if they are not going to provide you any help in that time period, you are going to file your complaint in Consumer Forum against them.
