Hi,
This is to bring to your notice that I Munasira, had ordered for Dell Inspiron 580S through dealer Staples Koramangala, Bangalore. however incorrect model 560(less configuration) was delivered, when notified to Dell customer care on 21st July 2011 (had great difficulties in getting touch with them after wasting my time, calls to Staples/dell for hours of waiting time) after almost a month on 2 Aug 2011 they confirmed me that the incorrect delivery is due to logistics team mistake and they are trying to rectify the same, after which they agreed to replace with the correct model on 24 Aug 2011 . And now it has been more than two months and am still awaiting Dell to deliver the desktop (they have already collected the 560 PC which was incorrectly delivered). They now give an excuse of software problem with the new system which is causing a delay and not sure on the ETA for the delivery and they (both dell and staples) refuse to refund my money.
My queries are:
a) Why did Dell deliver wrong desktop model in the first place and after accepting they would deliver the correct order its been more than two months.
b) Why are they taking full payment and not willing to refund after over 4 months when they are not able to deliver the system.
c) Why should I suffer monitarily as well as with lack of computer due to false promises of Dell.
d) They agreed to offer a superior system at their cost for this folly, after accepting they would deliver the correct order its been more than two months and now they refuse to refund the money with interest (both Dell and Staples).
I have the names of individuals involved and the order confirmation document and the email confirmation regarding all the above conversation on an email with Dell as well as Staples.
