    Service issue with HCL Guest

    Angry HCL Desktop PC support.

    Hi,

    - I have raised the complaint # 309100019 wiht HCL in Aug 2010 for display problem in my HCL Bean Stalk PC. After follow up of 2-3 weeks your executive visited my premises and told that mother board has problem and need to be replaced. He took Rs. 350 as the service / visiting charges for the issue. He did the entry of the same in receipt given to me when he took my mother board to service centre.

    - I was fine with the charges and confirm the replacement of motherboard to fix the issue. HCL executive visited again and replaced the motherboard with new one but after replacing mother board even PC stopped booting. I told him to fix the issue and then after investigation your executive told me that monitor has the problem.

    - I communicated to HCL executive to fix the issue as initial display issue stills persisted and on replacement of new mother board the problem further increased that even my PC stopped working.

    - After the above issue reported, I called HCL helpdesk multiple times but there was no resolution provided. In November 2010 I again raised the issue by online portal complaint Case ID -78644 Dated:- 11-November-2010. And again called up the help desk I was again told that someone will call.

    - In December 2010 I again raised the online complaint Case ID -82584 Dated:- 8-DEcember-2010 and called up the help desk. On calling I was told that old complaint is not traceable so I will need to raise the New complaint. And they raise the new SR # 041110082 for the same existing issue.

    - After raising the complaint # 041110082 by calling HCL hepldesk, I waited for 2 weeks and again raised the online complaint Case ID -87788 Dated:- 20-DEcember-2010. Each time I called help desk I was told that someone from support will call to resolve the issue. But no one has called up to fix the issue.

    - In Jan 2011 I again called up helpdesk and I was again suggested to raise the new complaint and complaint ID # 291110039 was again raised for the existing issue. I was told that someone will call or come to resolve the issue. But no one reported to fix the issue.

    - In Feb 2011, I again raise the complaint thru online portal Case ID -95764 Dated:- 16-Feb-2011 but in vain. I called up helpdesk and I was again told that someone will call to fix the issue.

    I have purchased this PC for 49000 INR from HCL considering that there will be good support provided by HCL either paid / unpaid. But the display issue has been handled in a very bad way by HCL Info system support team and on talking to helpdesk I came to know that there service agency has updated false information that executive has visited the place and customer is not ready to pay the money.


    I have been following up wiht HCL last 7 months and it seems that even after asking to escalate the issue it is not even getting escalated any further. Looking for your support in getting the PC issue resolved.
