You should setup your windows again and change your CD Rom. If you change you CD Rom then you could setup windows XP. so you should change CD Rom. Fast you should talk with your dealer I am sure that your CD Rom must be changed. So you should go to service center and talk with dealer about CD Rom and Windows. If they are not agree with you then you back you computer form them and took it in a good service center. For more help visit this site:

Problem with desktop system Very bad experience
Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased a HCL Ezeebee desktop system from "Advance computer shoppee" a dealer at Jail road D-118 Fateh Nagar,New delhi on 25/10/08.The dealer has given the warrenty of three year.Presently my desktop system is down.The problem is my window correpted & the CD Rom is not taking boot from CD.Looks like the CD rom is not working.The dealer is now saying this service is chargeable.Pl. help as I have the proof of only dealer bills on which it is clearly mentioned that the system is under warrenty for three years.
The M/c serial no. is 7084AZ030825
Date of purchase 25/10/08

Hi, might be cd is corrupted if not then try these options;
1) Change boot preference to CD-Rom in bios.
2) or readily press F8 while system is in booting and change preference to CD-ROM. It will definitely boot from cd.
