Due to a power short, I had given my assembled desktop computer to be repaired to a local company called Access Infotech in Bangalore. They said they would have to replace the mother board and the SMPS both of which had got burnt due to a power outage. I asked them to replace both the parts with warranted parts and they agreed and replaced the parts and sent me back the computer. On arrival, to check if the other parts were the same, I removed the cabinet and saw my graphics processor was missing and so I called them. They said that it too was burnt and that would have to be replaced. I requested them to return the part to me and that I would check if I could get warranty on it. They kept on telling me that they would and eventually they stopped answering my calls. So I gave up on that front. After 4 months, yesterday the computer stopped working and I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't turn on leading me to believe that the SMPS had stopped working. I tried calling the four numbers on the Bill and the engineer who had signed as Rahul didn't answer the caall whereas the engineer Prasanna answered his call and said they had seperated and now Rahul would be dealing with my problem. I tried calling Rahul on the number given by Prasanna and he didn't answer my call from my phones. I do not know what to do and wish to know if I can approach a consumer court for any help. Thanks in advance for any help.
