my self shyam dutt i have purchased a lenovo desktop on dated 11/nov/2009 from lenova distibutioer center delhi,under serial no is ES05130527 Model no is lenovo c-3 series desk.

Many times of complaint I don't have recd.proper solution. Always next two months its has problems. Many times of call waisted of times iam tried.. Pls see below iam shairing with you some complaint details with lenovo support.

I got a problem with my monitor. First it all started when 1 day my LCD Monitor (Dell e173fp) died with a spark sound when I was using it. So I send it to repair, after I receive it back, my monitor doesn't show the actual color anymore. I tested it, played around with the color settings on both my monitor and pc, but the problem still exist. I found that that I have a problem with the grey color. Anything that is grey, it is replaced with a slight violet colour, the darker the grey is, the more violet it goes. I surfed the web for those color block tests and verified that between white and black, violet replace it, the darker the more intensive the violet gets. I even tested my pc with another monitor and verified it's the monitor's problem, including changing the wire plugs, tightening the plug, resetting back to factory settings. Hopefully that's enough information.
PS : I accidentally left the monitor in the car for a few days because I was busy, hope that didn't cause the problem.
I think that somewhere during the process you've 'killed' the drivers for the display card, or changed the settings so that a standard VGA display driver is being used.

Use display properties -> settings -> adaptor -> change

See if the correct display card is listed there and change back to it.

Otherwise reinstall the display card driver and all should be well with a bit of luck. Pc desktop
