Statement of cr.card(4477473583679001) is not deld. every time before the due period.I used to make the payment earlier behalf my son.This time I have dropped SBI cheque for Rs.25000/-(vide no.705750) on2/12/2009.To-day I have got call from yr.office that cheque is not cleared for some reason.How can we know this informn for promt payment in time?I have entered my res.phone no.on reverse of the cheque.Kindly ack.for this complaint to my ID.

I am possessng an ICICI Bank Platinum Credit Card No. - 4629 8641 3274 6001, since February,2008. But on July 2008, when I paid the bill by cheque, it was returned and the payment was cancelled though there was sufficient amount in my savings account at that time. And, as I was not informed about the whole incident [I came to know about it only when i got the next bill], so I couldn't pay that bill before the due date. So in the next bill [August 2008, Statement Date - 08/08/2008 ], some taxes, interest charges, cheque return fees and late payment fees were imposed on it.

I paid the principal amount and asked the customer care to revert back those taxes interest charges and late payment fees.

The same thing happened in the month of August also. My cheque was returned and I was not informed at all. Every time I had paid the principal amount and asked the customer care to revert back those taxes, interest charges, cheque return fees and late payment fees. But some taxes and interest charges still continued to be imposed.


They are giving the reason of signature mismatch in the cheque. With the same signature of mine it was accepted for a long time. But suddenly they started to cancel my cheques on the reason of signature mismatch and which was not informed to me so that I could make the payment by the due dates.


And certainly it was not my fault as I was not informed about the return and cancellaton of that cheque I had paid on July and August of 2008. They did not send me the returned cheques also.


If they are not accepting the signature then there might be only security reason......... and they had not accepted the cheque doubting something [ by doubting, i mean to say, they could have thought that someone has done the signature illegally possessing my cheque book]........... and in that case being a banker they should inform the customer about that immediately ---- where now-a-days giving that info is a matter of a second....... still I was not informed.......


They did not even send those returned cheques to me. After requesting that, I got those on November 2009, that too the photcopies of the cheques.


Secondly, I was told by one ICICI bank customer care executive that my Principal Amount of Rs. 180 was due for payment and if I pay that amount only then other taxes and charges will be reverted back. I got the call from some Mr. Aftab on 25th Nov,2009. He called me from the nos. 03366112750 and 03366112450 from Kolkata. After which I paid the amount but I didn't get any confirmation mail. But now they are telling that they are not aware of that call.


When I called them and asked about it, then that customer care told that he was not aware of that matter.


So, now when I got the bill of Nov 2009, I found the amount to be Rs. 4001. I had already cleared the principal amount. Now they are not reverting back all the other charges and settle the matter.


It was also told in the month of October 2009 that during the dispute all the charges and taxes will be reverted back until and unless the dispute is resolved. Now they are denying that fact also.
They have sent a mail saying I have to pay the amount.

This is a malpractice by the ICICI bank as well as their Credit Card department - they are intensionally returning the cheques paid for the bill giving the reason of signature mismatch - without informing the customer - so that they can add some extra amount in the next bill - whereas using the same signature I had paid many bills of ICICI Credit card earlier.

As it might hamper my credit record in CIBIL , so please sir advice me regarding this.

Currently my outstanding amount is Rs 4,402. All the amount is taxes and other charges.

So, the problem lies in -

1. No synchronization among the customer care executives. I had given a call to the customer care after the incident in the month of Aug,2008. I was asked to pay the Principal Amount and the other charges will be reverted back. So I paid Rs. 6997.42 against Rs.7632.22. But they started to impose taxes and all other charges on the remaining amount. Now they are denying the fact. Now the amount is Rs. 4402.

Clearing all the payment completing all the legal formalities I hav closed my credit card Now I require personal loan, banks are dening to provide loan because the civil report collected by the bank is shown 'witten off' status. further when we did a cross checking with HSBC bank they said no due is lying with the bank. I have dropped one cheque on 07-12-2009 for Rs.600/- at Dwarakanagar ICICI Bank drop in box as I have not received crredit card statement till that day and I have not received credit card statement in January 2010 also and then after detailed enquiry I got my mail addressed changed in the records of ICICI Bank records and I received statement in February2010 and again dropped cheque for Rs.1000/- at ICICI Bsank Branch at Dwarakanagar Visakhapatnam 530 016. Now , I want to know what happened to my cheque for Rs.600/- dropped on 07-12-2009 at Dwarakanagar Branch Visakhapatnam and whether any amount for non inclusion of cheque dropped at Dwarakanagar Visakhapatnam branch of ICICI Bank on 07-12-2009 was included in the statment for December2009 tobe received in January2010 {WHICH I HAVE NOT REPEAT NOT RECEIVED] and if so kindly consider my case sympathitically and deduct all the charges levelled in the statmenet for December2009 tobe received in January2010 {WHICH I HAVE NOT REPEAT NOT RECEIVED TILL DATE} and allow me to pay the balanace amount hereafter. I immediately contacted customer care and told him the entire things, after some query customer care executive told me that your PAN number and other details are not matching but your name and date of birth is matching for this card and person who own this card have made a settlement few months back, so you are not the culprit .It is only ICICI bank who made a mistake. My ICICI bank credit card no is ********* 3003, my name is dr rohit dama. I had used it for booking spicjet flight from hyd to mumbai - on 7-1-2010 , The flight was cancelled and the amount reversed by spicejet on 16-1-2010 , which was to be reflected within 3 days. the bank statement still does not show the reversal , inspite of spicejet confirming the reversal. repeated attempts to contact icicibank have been unfruitful. kindly arrange for the reverssal athe earliest

i was using icici bank credit card from last 1 year but no sevice on credit
card is given to me arround the whole year.
few month ago i left my services and started a business in sitapura but due
to fir in bharat petrol depo there was loss in my frim .
and that way i unable to made pmt to icici bank , i req to bank to convert
the total amt into emi but they refuse for same . and after they charges
havey charges on my credit card acc. now they started gaving mental and
phsical tensin to me by handel the to recovery agent . they call me on my
mobile no and used very abuse language and forced me to pay full pmt in one
shot .
i really wants to pay the entrie amt but emi only that only i was capable
for same .

so just request u to take my complain and take some kind of action the bank
as i never apply for credit card they told that pre-approved card to u

kindly help in out at this matter and arrange the best way to the customer.

to pay the bill or please do the settlement then I payed the due amt and settlement amt
total of 1000 Rs/- and also cancelled the Card. Every thing was settled.
Now today On Feb 2010 when I am applying for Loan I got the Written Off status in CIBIL Report,
Due to this issue Banks are not giving any loan to me.

Till date I was thinking that ICICI bank is the best bank in India. but right now I dont have any words
for ICICI.
Please provide me the better solution
