This is to inform that I was issued ICICI Bank credit card with credit limit of 8000 in the year 2003. I had paid all dues though irregularly through the year 2005 after which I lost my credit card and had filed a police complaint against the same. I had even notified ICICI regarding the loss of card. A few bank officials had visited my place and I paid them some final dues which was my accountability before loss of the card and I was told that the card will be closed and a new one will be issued. I had informed the officials that I will not require a new card anymore as I would be going abroad. Now after 7 years I receive a call from some lady who claims to be an advocate and says you will be issued a nonbailable warrant and the police will come to fetch you at your residence. She said ICICI has filed a case against you for amount due and you have to fight it out at the court of law in the next two days. Now, isn't this funny? When asked what amount due - she says she doesn't have any details (unacceptable) and asks me to call a local recovery goon for settlement. Please advise on the next steps.

After i received the statement on 30May an dI had paid Rs.933 excluding so calle dinterest charges which I had rejected ,
I found in my email paymentreminder for Rs.3006 . No statement was received an dI apy only against hard copy of statement andnot on email statement . also no eamil statement wa srecived .

This is customary for ICICI Bank credit card admn to include some body's statement to include and then withdraw after protest .

i am now in USA (Redmond, Seattle and will be back in Sep.

I have decided to close my credit card and add on card and send them back afte rcutting into two pieces on my return .

I have applied for an ICICI Credit card before 4 years back, but I haven't received any credit card from the bank till now. I'm receiving calls from the bank asking me to pay the outstanding amount of Rs-20000. I directly reached the Credit Card division (Ambattur, Chennai branch) and inquired about this. They verified all the details and confirmed that the card has not been delivered (POD has not been signed) but the statement has been received by some other person whom I doesn't know itself, even I got the card # after contacting them. No transaction has been made by using the card, but the charges is for the insurance amount which has been taken from the ICICI Lambord Insurance based on the card, I dont know how they can activate the card with out dispatching it and how they made the transaction. The executive asked me to contact ICICI Lambord Insurance customer care and raise a request to withdraw the amount. When I called the ICICI Lambord Insurance customer care and informed this issue they are asking me to contact ICICI Credit card customer care and cancel the card then the amount will be reversed. They are playing a game with out giving a proper solution. Now because of this issue my name is in CIBIL defaulter list and I'm facing lot of problems now. In between a executive went to my native and threatened my family to pay the amount. Please help me to get out this issue and remove my name from the defaulter list.
