Dear Sir,
My HDFC Credit card number is 4346781011287349
I would like to inform you that total credit limit given to my credit card was Rs 50000. So, logically my credit card bill (for CC No 4346781011287349 ) should not be more than Rs 50000 ( including all the expenses, interest and credit card charges in any circumstances ) . But now the total outstanding showing is Rs 71000 approx.
I have never requested HDFC bank to increase my credit limit then how come the HDFC bank has increased my credit limit from Rs 50000 to Rs 71000 without informing me in any kind of communication (written or verbal) ???
HDFC Bank hould have blocked and freezed my card by the time my credit card had crossed the total credit limit i.e. Rs 50000 (including all the charges like purchases, tax, interest, EMI etc )
So against the last bill generated on 18th January 2012 and yet to be generated bills for the cc no 4346781011287349 I will pay the amount witin maximum credit limit assigned on my credit card ( ie. within Rs 50000 ). I will not pay any amout above my credit limit Because its HDFC Banks mistake who has increased the credit limit without informing me in prior.
What action should be taken against the HDFC Bank for increasing the credit limit without informing me in prior and charging Rs 21000 more than the credit limit??
Kindly arrange a call from Senior HDFC representative who is handelling the full and final settlement ( No agents please )
Regards,
Md Nooman
