HDFC credit card collection dept Harresment
My complaint against the credit card department is regarding harrasement and mental torture.
My HDFC Credit card number is 4346781011287349
I have joined new company in the 3rd week of November 2011 and my mobile number got changed as my previous mobile number was taken back from my previous company. During 1st & 2nd week of December I had called the customer care number to update my new mobile number but every time customer care executive informed to me that they cannot update the mobile number due to problem in the HDFC server. Finally last week of january 2012 again I called the customer care and then my new number got updated.
I am the customer of HDFC credit card since Feb 2011 and I have been contineously paying all the bills on or before the due date till November 2011. Due to certain circumstances I wasnt able to pay the bills since last 2 months. But I had informed the Customer Care as well as the Collection Team that I will start making the payment from 1st week of Februrary 2012. Agents are asking for the payment within 20 minutes and calling me contineously. I can provide the details of number of times agents had called me since last 6 days.
I have been receiving contineous harrasement calls almost 50 to 60 times in a day from the credit card collection department from following numbers 9225332424 ( Mr. Anil) , 02041218010 (miss subodhini ). Even thought I informed many times to Mr. Anil and Subodhini that I will be able to pay the outstanding amount on or before 7th Feb 2011. But these collection peoples are calling contineously to make the payment in cash within 30 minutes.
Further since 29th Jan 2012 Mr. Anil has started calling on my OFFICE number and spoken to my Branch Manager and my collegues to make the payment . Now tell me is this the right way to do folloup ??? You are calling on my office number and discussiong with my office colluges . Now HDFC is playing with my privacy by spreading my finantial staus to other peoples.
Today morning around 10 am I had informed about the harrasement calls and calls on my office number from Credit Card Collection agents to customer care executives. Then the customer care executive informed me that they will send me the applogy letter to me for the harrasement and calls on my office number from credit card payment collection agents and customer care executive had assured that the same will not happen by giving the request number 12030098630. Around 11:30 am again Mr. Anil (credit card collection agent) called on my office landline and spoke to my collegues from 9225332424. I called on Mr. Anil's (9225332424) number and requested to not call on my office number and I also informed him that I have spoken to customer care and they have given me the request number 12030098630then he said he will keep on calling on my office number . He started abusing me by saying " Agar aukad nahi hai theo kharch kyu kiya, khairaat mei paisa lena chahte ho kya, mujhe abhi ka abhi cash chahiye office mei kisis se v maango ya kuch v karo"
After this harrasing experience ,Now I am feeling to stop and cancel the HDFC credit card by doing one time full and final settlement. I want to contact the concerned Manager from HDFC so that my issue can be closed on immediate basis.
Please suggest what should I do???
What kind of legal action can be taken against the HDFC collection agents Miss Subodhini and Mr. Anil ( Pune ) for harrasing me by calling on my office numbers and discussing to make the HDFC payment from my colluges even after informing them not to call on my office number?????
what action should be taken for HDFC had increased my credit limit without informing me and charging me heavy interest for over due and late payments.

Please be inform that my HDFC account was having balance more than 5000.i have kept this balance for urgency to pay amount of rent and bills.
Now the situvation is when i tried to widraw from HDFC debit card ATM the amount is showing 0.00 here am locked then i visited nearer HDFC bank and enquired hence they also not knowing the reason person is telling balance is there in account you just try widrawing finally she told they can see in on hold pending something related to Credit cared lien.
I have requested to collection centre about this case i need my money back as i kept it for urgency,otherwise i am helpless in this case and also without informing they detucted my balance or freezed.
I agree i have to pay back the money if am not able to pay for last months they should give me some time. i already mentioned them that i am currently in bankcrupt and please give a settlement or final payment for card.they are not at all ready to tell details and they they want thier money soon.
Requester told me to call next day for report.Hope i may get the freezed balance.
please help me from this sitvation
