    Angry Complaint Against ICICI Bank Credit Card Recovery

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    This is to inform that I Akshat Dhawan had a credit card from ICICI Bank which I was unable to pay as I lost my job and was not in a position to pay. I had 2 cards & 1 Personal loan from ICICI Bank. I paid off the Personal Loan and 1 Credit Card but unfortunately I was unable to pay off the second card. Now I am getting HARRASING THREATS from ICICI Bank recovery team to pay the amount, I am continously asking them for the card # for which the payment is remaining but they are not even providing me the same. I am ready to pay the amount but need some time which i requested to the recovery team but seems that don't give ears to the customer. After my several requests made to them for giving me some time they are continously calling me & my relatives for the same. Due to this illegal practice made by them I am going under MENTAL TORTURE and feels like FILING a complaint against them. Please help me & look into this matter.

    Default Complaint against Credit card recovery agent

    Dear Sir,
    A person who was working in our organisation has availed a credit card from ICICI Bank four years ago. At that time he was not working in our organisation when he availed the credit card. A recovery agent named - ANGAD called to the office and start abusing me while I told him that you are not literate and do not know hoe to talk. while I said him that the person is not working with our concern. Still he is calling repeatedly and harrasing me. Please do the needful.

    Default ICICI Bank Credit Card misuse

    Hi,

    I had account with ICICI bank and it was salary account my company provided me this account.I had 13k salary and after some months of job ICICI bank provided me platinum credit card, which was not applied from me.But executive told me this is the offer made for you from ICICI bank.I used this credit card up to date and paid on time and wanted to close the credit card as I made my outstanding was null. I did not received PIN number for this credit card and never asked for PIN , but I got message from ICICI bank that I withdraw 20,000 rs from ATM. But my question is I never asked for PIN and it was not came with credit card also then how it is possible,I called many times to customer care and asked details for withdraw. They was not in favor to help me and always telling that you used card and you have to pay for the card.I asked him to provide me video footage,but the unable to provide the same.I am suffering from lots of pain and harassment from ICICI bank. I did not paid ICICI for this and I will not paid as I not used this amount.please give me a way to come out from this.

    I had a Credit card 4 to 5 years back and dues to some uncontrollable reasons and family Health issues i could not make the payment, and later it went for so long i was in my trouble that it missed out of my mind, now out of a blue moon today i had 8 to 9 people coming to my office at 6am in the morning and harrasing all my collegues and our security and thy had surrounded our building waiting for me, and saying that they will not leave me, has ICICI started appointing rowdies now for recovery and these people all eating Gurkha and screaming on road saying send that guy out ( thast me).I am planning to give an Police complaint, as this is very annoying and Mental torture, I got an warning from our HR and GM because of this ruckus they created at office.PLease somebody look at it or Next time they come i am gonna lodge office Police complaint on ICICI CC bank. I hope i get an solutions.

    Default Salary Account Blocked for credit card

    I am having a salary account in ICICI bank and a credit card 4076 5120 3190 6030 from ICICI bank. I have this account for past 12 years and the credit card for past 11 years. There are no hassles in my dues till date. I had some balances and got a call from ICICI bank that it can be converted to EMI option. They said this will help me reduce the intrest paid and the emi will be charged back to my credit card account on monthly basis. I paid around 18000 as fees for the same as it will be helpfull when in soem troubled times. But later the EMI seems to be added to the minimum account balance itself every month and not just to outstanding balance. Where I paid it for four months last two months i can't able to make a paymenty as the emi amount is high. The net outstanding balanace in card is INR 2,10,000 and minimum amount due is INR 96,000 which is 45% of outstandoing balance. I requested to provide me an usual option of paying the 5% - 10% of outstanding as minimum balance. But they were insisting to pay the full 2 months EMI as balance. I said to collection agent with the current scenario it is not possible now to , i will pay the complete amount by october. Till that date I requested to provide me an option to pay the minimum amount dues which is typicallt

    Yesterday I found the balance amount of INR 2,10,000 is added to my bank account as negative balanace which eventually blocks me accessing any funds available to my account even for any emergency purpose. I dont have any direct debit instructions provided to the bank but still they added to that. When I contacted the bank they forwarded me to collection agent and she replies thats the guidance they got from RBI ( to add the amount to savings bank accouint) where they are two different instruments. This is like straight away encroaching your land just because you have some dues. And in a scenario of tight financial postion it just blocks even the basic finance you need for emergency purpose. Now the collection agent says that card is completly blocked and unless I pay INR 2,10,000 to the salary account it wont be released. Any amount that comes into my account will be grabbed for the charges.

    This is the case for some one
    1) Having relationship with the bank for more than 12 years.
    2) Holding the credit card for more than 11 years and extensively used it which benefitted the bank.
    3) with salary account called "Privillege banking".
    4) willing to pay the balance without any default or loss to the bank, only things requested them to restrcit it to the minimal balance for some time which is 5-10% of outstanding ( and thats the usual in credit cards). I am ready to pay the interest.
    5) unncessarily in this scenario by paying some 18,000 for EMI, otherwise i would not have opted for that.
    6) with no direct debit instructions from savings account. Not sure how some one can link my salary account to a credit card. I heard case where credit card issued against fixed deposit, but not salary account. And it seems RBI guided for this behaviour.

    I asked them to raise a compiant with salary account as i havent provided any instructions for this debit, but the call centre refused as they dont have any category underwhich they can raise the complaint. Easy way to avoid registering compliant.

    Dont know what to do with this bank.

    Today i received a call from the above number for
    the non payment of my credit card, it is a case of 2008 when Rs 700 or Rs 800 was balance
    to pay which i could not make it at that time,but during this 4 years i
    never received a call from the bank for the payment suddenly
    from past 2 months i started receiveing a call from agents for
    the payment of Rs 15900 which is totally strange and not
    at all acceptable for me, when i denied paying the said amount
    they started abusing me like anything using
    flithy languages also threatened my by saying we will come down to your place
    and f... your wife and put bamboo sticks in your a.. and many more things which i
    cannot describe on this email.
    I never expected this kind of a horrible experience from the reputed bank like ICICI
    I Hope this will be taken care by your branch and i would not receive such a call again

    This is really harassing, iam feeling like lodge a complaint to police if you all dont help me.

    Default standard chartered bank credit card

    Can a bank authorise a recovery agency to collect the dues after 8 years?//because i recieved a call and e mail from a agency that they have some dues against me for a card which i stopped using 8 years back after i think i cleared the dues.
    Please guide me in finding the genuinity of these mails and how to proceed with them.if needed i can attach the mails they sent me

    Default Mental Harassment,Misrepresentation, usage of Illegal Ways by ICICI Call Center Agent

    Dear Sir/ Madam,

    I, Mr. Surinder S. Gill, was unable to pay my ICICI Credit Card dues due to severe financial problems. In order to recover the same from me, ICICI Bank's Call Center Agents are using the following Illegal ways:
    1. They are giving calls on my Employer's Landline phones due to which I have lost my job.
    2. When I receive their call on my cell phone, if i silently listen to them, they threaten me to speak out or else, they would call on my Employer's landline.
    3. They also gave calls on my neighbours' landline phones.
    4. They gave a call on my neighbour's sister's landline phone who is married and has no connection with us.
    5. I filed a complaint with Mr. Krishna Pandey, some Manager who was available at J. B. Nagar Branch of ICICI Bank but got no satisfactory response from him.
    6. Vrushali, another manager who is looking after Credit Cards, sitting in MIDC Branch, gave my case to Call Center Agents for recovery & even, she is not attending to my complaint properly.
    7. The language used by the call center agent is rude & their tone is too high.
    I request you to please look into this matter at your earliest as this mental harassment by taking away my jobs is getting too serious.

    Default ICICI Credit card

    I was having a ICICI credit card three yrs ago. I decided to close it, and asked for the customer care to give the exact amount for closing, which i promptly paid and broke the card in front of the ICICI bank manager, Adayar Branch, who has verified the amount as well to be paid. I linked ICICI lumbard insurence and my landline phone bill collection to this credit card which i said required to be closed immediately. Six months later (not befor that), a message came that i need to pay Rs 5000 or so which is outstanding. I immediately called them for the reason which they hevent given. Three yrs later now, they are asking for Rs. 11500 odd, which they held it as reserve fee from my ICICI savings bank account and asking me to pay that.

    I think i should go for the Consumer court. They are not ready to give any credit card transaction details since my surrender nor they give any information. This is fraudelent money laundering and breach of trust. They always say savings bank is different from credit card division but held my personal account money with out my knowledge or permission. This criminal intention must be punished and they should learn a lession.

    If i am not getting any response in a day or two i am going for consumer court.

    sir/ madam this is to inform you that I always drop my cheque in drop box in city as in jammu we have only one icici bank . I always make my payment on time 12 of every month but still you have charge me late fee why? this is haressment to customer

    Default complaint against ICICI BANK Demat Services-AMC charges

    This is regarding AMC charges billed to me for DEMAT services for the period Sep'11 - Oct'12.

    I didn't know, why i am billed as i haven't used DEMAT services yet, Secondly i am not aware of any AMC charges against this DEMAT A/C nor i was told (not from the beginning). I only open such A/C with ICICI as it's absolutely free i.e no joining or annual charges as told by the bank representative.

    The bank mailed me the statement on 5th Oct 2012 and also intended to debit he same from my Savings A/C with them.


    I WANT TO POLITELY REQUEST TO THE BANK TO REVERSE THOSE CHARGES ASAP And if necessary can close the Demat A/c with immediate effect..

    My Demat A/C no is -30267937467946.

    This is regarding recovery and threatning calls from ICICI bank sice 5 days, Person called Narinder is calling me from 8447732600 & 9582309114 in a very rude language and also giving calls to my senior colleagues for recovery.
    I had already cleared all the dues 4 years back and also closed the card at the same time, but suddenly that person started calling me and asking for the money which is already paid 4 years back.
    Even i had logged the complaint at their Nodal Desk but till date no response received and also sent the mail at headcreditcards@icicibank.com .
