SUB: DISPUTED AMOUNT AND HARASSMENT BY ICICI FOR SETTLEMENT OF THE SAME
Dear Sir,
I am the primary owner of ICICI Credit Card No4477 4650 0182 4003 and my wife
is a supplementary Card Holder Credit Card No4477 4650 0182 4102. We have been
ICICI cutomers for the past 8 years and veryprompt in our payments and the same
can be verified if our payment track record isgone through.
On 23.09.10 there were some fraudulenttransactions found while perusing
the statement which were notified to ICICI andthe card was got blocked.
The details are given below:
All transactions were on same day
a) Bharti Airtel Ltd ( MCHEK) Rs. 500
b) Go Airlines (INDIA) Pvt Ltd Rs. 10608
c) Reliance Communications Rs. 5000
d) Jet Airways Rs. 8064
e) Bharti Airtel Ltd ( MCHEK) Rs. 500
f) Bharti Airtel Ltd ( MCHEK) Rs. 500
g) Bharti Airtel Ltd ( MCHEK) Rs. 500
We had faxed these amounts to ICICI customer care on 27.09.10 after discussion
with them and getting the dispute registered. (SR 153279425 and SR 153279551)
to fax no 022 6646683 with supports when my was not in station.
Subsequently we have also sent mails to ICICI customer care.
All the debits except two items were reversed. We are unable to understand
why these two items remained unreversed and credit not given.
1. Reliance communication Rs 5000
2. Go Air ( Partial ) Rs.3864
ICICI has labelled us as defaulters and constantly harassing us for settlementof
the same. They have even sent recovery agent to my residence in my absence
and was very rude to my son and threatened to black list us.
I was also served a conciliation notice very diplomatically threatening me that
failure to attend or sort out the issue, action would be taken against me for
recovery of the same.
I did interact to this notice by meeting the officials and explained and putbefore
them the facts.
I have also sent a mail to ICICI customer care again asking them to resolve
the same but surprisingly I received a mail stating that they are unable
to help me with a flimsy excuse after more than one year of deliberations.
I am still receiving calls for settlement of these transactions with penalty,
late payment fees and interest amounting to Rs 15740 as per notice.
Sir, I wish to inform that my family is under tremendous pressure and
trauma because of the constant telephone calls and harassment.
I sincerely request you to kindly look into the same and request ICICI
to immediately to reverse the debits and close the matter once and for
all.
