Dear Sir/Madam

I have applied for a credit card in HDFC Bank on 23 or 24 of Nov. 2011. For that I got some confirmation message on my mobile number after some days. I got some application number too.


Then one day I received another message that bank has sent me a letter on my address and I have to answer that letter. But to my surprise I have received no letter till now. Then I contacted customer care regarding the issue. The representative told me that my address have not been verified and I should send address proof to their Chennai office. And for that I should attach my visiting card along with a form to be downloaded from HDFC website.


And I did the same in evening. On very next day someone verified my address at home. I wonder how could my letter reach Chennai in just a night's time. In the meanwhile I kept on tracking the status through website and it kept on stating "in process".


Now from last few days, I am again contacting customer care about the same. But every time they say that their server is not working.


Please tell me what should I do and from where can I get the proper status. My application number is 11112620021490N1.
