I have fully paid ( By cash ) my dues in full and final settlement and have closed the standard chartered credit card in 2001 -2002.

Suddenely in Oct 2010 , some one called me from mumbai and said i have pending dues for the above mentioned card and SAHA FINLEASE is the company which has now brought old debts from Standard Chartered bank and i have to pay the same or they will initiate the legal action.

Even though i have paid my all dues , can a credit card comapny do such things after a period of 10 years.

Pl help me to get the oipinion.
