Unhappy False promise by HDFC bank card customer care.

    Hi,

I am Daniel Manohar Das a user of HDFC bank card(Card number: 4346-7810-1179-3015). The time when the card was offered to me I was promised a credit limit of Rs 50,000 however, I recieved a card with Rs. 25000 credit limit I did not want to get in an arguement with HDFC. Hence, I did not tell anything, a couple of weeks back I contacted them to do a balance transfer however, they stated that I do not have an offer to do the same I gulped my frustration again I called them again last saturday(19/11/2011) & I got a confirmation that if I buy anything on my card I had an offer to get it converted into easy EMI'S. However, they told me to call after 24hrs of swiping so that they could get it done over the telephone and the reason I had called them was to confirm the same and I was promised that it is possible. Hence, I bought a mobile phone(Samsung Ace) from planet M on Sunday evening and as I did not have time I called them today Thursday(24/11/2011). However, what I got was a shocking news. They now state that there is no such offer available and nothing can be done. The Customer support executive I spoke to was Vishaka who was unable to give me any condolance or did not bother to even go an extra mile to help me and bluntly replied "YOU HAVE TO PAY THE ENTIRE AMOUNT AND NOTHING IS POSSIBLE NOW" and in a couple of seconds after she said this the call got dissconnected. I am still confused whether it was an connection error or the call was dropped by her. I gained some strenght and dailed their number again this time I got Poonam, who hardly knew how to speak in english and she also refused to give an corporate email address and she also denied to escallate the call I was just helpless, if I go to any HDFC bank branch they disown us as credit card holders and ask us to contact telephone support and this is what you get from telephone support all "FALSE PROMISES" and they don't even have a track of what did they say. Today, as an HDFC card holder I believe I did the biggest mistake being with HDFC for more than 3yrs. I am in debts only because, of the plastic card that is sitting in my wallet doing nothing and pulling me more inside the debt ditch. I am very upset with HDFC as they doesn't even value me as a human being, cust service is a secondary thing.

Hope I could get some help.

    Thank's,
    Daniel Manohar Das.

    Default HDFC BANK Personal Loan

    Hi,
Iam Shwetangi gajarlwar basically from Nagpur.Currently in Pune, salaried, working in current comapny from 14 months.I have salary a/c with HDFC bank in pune.I applie for personal loan in month of september for amt of 2lacs.All documentation and formalities were completed but was rejected within three days saying requires co-applicant.As first time it was rejecte i could not apply again for 1 month from rejected date. Now again i applied 3 weeks ago from HDFC again as according to there promotions i thought processing would be fast again. This time i applied with co-applicant who was my friends husband Mr Dinesh Lohar resi. Pune,Nigdi. My application is rejected again and the reason given is "co-applicant-friends husband" which is unexceptable.
First of all if it really takes 1month for loan approval why does bank promotes "approval in 3-4 days"....???
Secondly if we have a close look at this the reason given makes no sense....The sales manager Mr.Santosh Singh,i had a word with him but even he has no positive response other than "we will let you know"....Now again it has been erjected and i wont be able to apply for next 2months..
If bank cannot provide loans in 3-4 days why does it mislead customers by wrong promotions...???
And why the customers are not responeded then and then....???
Iam really frustrated with such a service and misleading of bank and the managers and want some action to be taken.

    Kindly Suggest.
    Regards,
    Shwetangi Gajarlwar
