    Default Phoenix ARC collection agecny mental harassment

    Dear Sir,

    I had Barclay bank credit card No. ************8009 which i have not been using for the last 3 years. Few days back i received a call from Phoenix ARC- a collection agency and they are abusing me and my seniors in Office. I have directly talked to the bank's customer care and I have already paid the total outstanding amount of Rs. 12800 yesterday( Transaction Reference No. MHDF2643020586) and updated the bank in this regard. In spite of that the collection agency is continuously calling and abusing from the Nos. 01142050508 and 01142050510. I have already complained to the bank regarding this.

    Request you to kindly help me out with this harassment.

    Default card that never used

    Dear Team,

    I am Naved mohd khan request you to kindly do the needful,As I have never used the credit card of Barclays but in cibil it shows on my name the details of which mentioned below:-

    Account number B2C0960235 of Barclays which is showing the outsatanding of INR 24000/- which i
    never used that , please help me to remove the same from the cibil site,which is very urgent.

    Kindly do the needful as early as possible.As this shows in my cibil report and it is on my job.

    Post Phoenix ARC / ABN AMRO / Kotak all are creating mess in my life.

    Hi All,

    My Name is xxxxxx.xx from Bangalore.

    I had a ABN AMRO credit card sometime back which had little dispute. Now am ready to make the payment. ABN says it is Phoenix ARC and I am in touch with them from past 1 month. Everyday they are giving one reason.

    I have contacted all possible escalation levels in the bank (Kotak/Phoenix ARC/ABN AMRO/RBS) no go.

    If possible can somebody help me.

    Default CIBIL system

    Actually process of CIBIL itself is not right it is totally in favor of financial institutes & banks only & 100% against the consumers. intact CIBIL has opened this new way of cheating consumers for all the financial institutes & banks as finally the member body of CIBIL is these financial institutes & banks only. therefore the rules which they made becomes the final & if you want to challenge it go to courts & many many more...which affects a consumer from all the aspects like time, finance etc...CIBIL is good initiative but ineffective & imbalance system which either need to improve from consumer point of view or need to shut the operation. They donít have even the consumer grievances redressal process they only listen to the banks & financial institutes. RBI or indian government should take some corrective actions immediatly.

    Dear Sir,

    This is K. Gokula Kriashnan from Chennai.

    During the year 2007 I had ABN AMRO Credit card. Due to certain dispute, I closed the card and obtained No Due Certificate from the bank during March 2007.

    Recently I had applied for personal loan and all my applications were rejected. Hence I checked my CIBIL Score and found that ABN AMRO Bank details are still exist as pending payment. So I communicated with CIBIL and in turn CIBIL contacted the merchant banker and finally CIBIL has removed ABN AMRO details from my account. I have got an confirmation mail from CIBIL.

    AT present on 15/3/2013, I got a call from Mr. Surya Narayanan, introduced himself as Panel Lawyer of RBS. He harrased me as I have pending due of Rs. 5350.00. I was explaining him that I already got No due certificate and confirmation from CIBIL. He didnt listen my word and told that Bank has issued Arrest Warrant and inspecter is sitting near by, If I not paying with in 1 hour i will be arrested. I got doubt on him and said that my friend will be paying cheque now as i was out of Chennai. He told the details will be SMS ed to my mobile.

    After some time I got a call from Mr. Sunil - Kotak Mahindra Bank, stating that Lawyer told I'm paying the payment. I said I will pay only to ABN AMRO and not to Kotak Mahindra as I had relationship with ABN AMRO only. He said ABN AMRO was taken over by RBS and RBS was taken over by Kotak Mahindra. He asked my mail id to send details. I asked his mail id in turn. He gave sunilkotak@gmail.com. I asked to give his official mail id. He replied his employer never give official mail id. I asked him in whose favour the cheque to be issued. He told, to issue on Phoenixtrust. I was shocked again 4th agency coming in!!!. I issue only in favour of ABN AMRO, if you agree i will send my friend. After some time the lawyer called again and told that Kotak Mahindra sold the credit card to Phoenix trust.

    I told the lawyer, during his first call i dont have all the back papers (No due Certificate and CIBIL mail). Now i have it in my hand, so I directly deal with bank you dont worry. He said being panel lawyer, I should not help you. But i helped you. If i not agreeing his words, I will be arrested. I sadi no issues and asked his Chamber no. Thats all, he cut the phone.

    He harrased me as if he is the god. Simply, to get all his words, I politely spoke to him in his way and fully recorded all the phone calls of him and the Sunil. in my Phone.

    Please advice what to do at this stage. I am sure only through RBS only some outsider/ unknown agent got my details. So it is a violation by the bank to maintain the confidentiality.

    Default Mental harassment by credit card collection agency.

    I was using barclays card on which i was not able to pay some of the balance amount. later on the Barclays has closed the card operation and all default cards was sold to Kotak Mahindra Bank. KMB has nominated Phoenix arc collection recovery agent, which further contracted SAGAR COLLECTIONS, SCO-7, Sector-68, Mohali (Punjab). Since I was willing to clear the pending dues and accordingly entered into a settlement with Phoenix ARC Pvt. Ltd and paid an Installment Of Rs.10,000/- through SAGAR COLLECTIONS, SCO-7, Sector-68, Mohali (Punjab) vide receipt No.PARC No.0216364 dated 28.02.2014. Due to sudden financial crunch I could not pay the installments for the last two months. It is pertinent to mention that the settlement letter is still valid. Today on 30.04.2014 around 11.12 AM, I got a call from the collection agent Sh. Harpreet Singh from Mobile No.9914444412, who informed me that Sh.GURPREET SINGH, Collection Manager of SAGAR COLLECTIONS, SCO-7, Sector-68, Mohali (Punjab) wanted to talk to me. I told him that I have just came back from the Clinical Laboratory after going through a series of medical tests on the advise of my Doctor. He started shouting at me on behalf of KOTAK bank and also started threatening me, which caused me mental agony and harassment as I am already under medical supervision and worried about my deteriorating health. Kind Attention of Kotak Mahindra Bank is being invited to Para 6.3 (c) of the Master Circular No. RBI/2012-13/71
    DBOD.No.FSD.BC. 23/ 24.01.011/ 2012-13 dated July 2, 2012.
    Since they have not followed the RBI guidelines and threatening my life. I am going to file complaint against the Kotak Mahindra Bank and its collection agencies with RBI. I am also planing to file a complaint with the Local Police Authorities against the Kotak Mahindra Bank and its collection agencies. In the mean time it is requested that Sh.GURPREET SINGH, Collection Manager of SAGAR COLLECTIONS, SCO-7, Sector-68, Mohali (Punjab) may please be restrained from harassing, humiliating and causing mental agony to me.

    Default Written Off status in Cibil report

    Hi Team,

    I had a credit card with Barclays bank (4339518259953524).I had payed the complete due amount and have got a screen shot from a Barclays employee that time.when I applied for a home loan now it got rejected stating that the credit was written off .please change the status in the system as I wont be able to get the loan if this is not changed,Please find the attached screen shot provided by the Barclays employee at that point of time
