    Angry Telephone harassment by ABN AMRO Bank Agents

    I have lodged my grievances against my complaint to the Card Services Dept. ABN Amro Bank for charging excessive outstanding amount every month and sending me faulty bills.

    I have lodged my complaint on 30/07/2009 to the Public Grievances Dept. but unfortunately I did not get any response from their side so far.

    Of Late the ABN AMRO Bank collection agents have started harassing me and my wife on a regular basis and using abusive languages on the phone.
    I am not in a good state of mind as my professional life is getting disturbed. I beg of you to take an immediate step against ABN AMRO Bank and get me some relief.

    Unhappy Harassment ABN AMRO.

    Two persons came with a signed letter from the Regional Collection Manager which stated clearly that the settlement amount is Rs 25,000/- and the amount should be settled in 21 days from the date of receipt of payment, the letter was dated 24th August 2009.The letter was shown to us the copy was not handed over to us, we were told that the letter would be handed on the receipt of payment, when the letter says a copy of the letter is hereby handed to you as an intimation of payment within 21 days of date of receipt and a copy regarding the acceptance of the same should be signed and handed back.

    The person called up on cell phone has refused to take a cheque of the amount dates 15th September 2009, insisting only on cash.He has spoke to us in a very rude language and abusive language. This has been carrying on for the past 4 months and i have been constantly in touch with ABN customer service, of which ii have the email correspondence, but it is to no effect.

    Kindly tell me what is to be done regarding this

    I am specialist in settlement , have resolved more than 1572 cases .Credit card debth will be taken care and highest waiver possible .
    Any personal loan issues also do not hesitate to contact me.

    You should know your right ,Collection Agents are not supposed to Harass or annoy the defaulters however chronic the default be.

    I am trying to help my citizens to fall in trap and thankyou to Consumer Court team for giving me this platform .
