    Angry Misguided to apply for a credit card, by telling its a life time free card

    Hello Sir/Madam,
    I had got a call to apply for a credit card.When I asked about any lifetime free card, I was told about the titanium card which is free for employees of some companies and my company was also included in the list.But now when I got the verification call and the reference number:11100714934550,I was told that the lifetime free scheme has been stopped recently and I will have to pay Rs.249 yearly charges. Is the lifetime free condition valid only till the customer applies for the card???
    Will there be any charges applied as mentioned in the previous complaint.Also,please tell me whether the renewal fee too is going to be applied on the card along with the annual fee.
    If its so I would like to cancel the application.
    Please look into this matter any reply me as soon as possible.Thanking you in anticipation.

    Default Late fee and Finance charge

    Let me know please that my platinium credit card no. xxxxxxxxxxx5524 bill payment due date was 06/09/2011. and i paid total bill amount Rs.28013 through cheque no. 003783 dated 05/09/2011, why i am pay late fee and finance charge.
    if cheque not clared on time or bank holiday who is responsible pls clarify me.

    Default Cancellation of Credit Card

    I have cancelled the Credit Card at the time of varification ony, again I receiving mails & messages that my card is currierd to my residance. please cancell the credit card which I have not received / accepted and inform me on my email - or my mobile - 9930091391.

    I have been applied for credit card sience 1 month ..Latter i have received letter Ref No . 11092214306470W1 from Bank requisting for documents that was i already submitted while apply for card .. .

    But Still i have not received atleast a call or information from HDFC ..

    Could i know how much more time bank will take to issue for the cradit ..

    Default Inappropriate charges levied

    I am using a credit card and my usage for a month was somewhere around 3700 rs. But due to some confusion i paid 3700 plus 1800. that means i overpaid somewhere around 1800 rs. also when this card was sold to me, the hdfc guy told me that any cash withdrawls are free upto the credit limit and no charges are charged for that. he clearly stated that thing. but when i withdrew some amount i was charged cash advance fee three times that too 300 each time plus taxes.

    This is clearly a fraud. at the time of sale the saleman clearly states that some service is absolutely free and when you acyually go ahead and use that service, they start charginging you for the same.

    Also i did not take any credit from the bank. i withdrew only that amount which i had overpaid.

    Now the bank is not reversing the amount and are causing me real harassment.

    Please help.

    Post Requested to stop auto adjustment

    My son ( SATHISH RAJAMANI) is using credit card of HDFC which number is 4617 8720 0029 9601.
    He is also having a savings account ( A/C No: 08331000021893) in HDFC Bank JAKKACHANDRA Branch in BANGALORE. He had given instruction for AUTO ADJUSTMENT of his telephone No:080 22576671 bills. Now since he had a job in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, he had surrendered his BSNL phone of the mentioned number on 13.08.2011 itself. So he asked me inform you to stop the auto adjustment of his phone bills from his S B account. Further in the credit card statement dated 09/09/2011 the BSNL telephone have been adjusted for Rs:1080/= . Regarding this he had sent a letter reqesting you to stop the auto adjustment of phone bills from his S/B account to credit card account on 20/10/2011. Please take suitable action to stop the auto adjustment of phone bills from his s/b account to credit card account.

    Default HDFC credit card and customer care

    Hi Team,

    I am Venkat Dinesh Sirigiri working in Mysore. This is regarding my series of failed credit card applications with HDFC bank.

    HDFC bank executive called in April - May and told me about LIFE TIME FREE Titanium credit card for which I applied in May with following proofs submitted to an executive at our office:
    1. Then latest salary slip
    2. Company ID photocopy
    3. Driving license photocopy
    4. Passport size photo

    After some days they came back saying there was signature mis-match and asked for proofs again. I was also asked to sign a 'Signature mis-match sheet'. This time I submitted all of the above mentioned proofs again except photograph. Then they called me and asked me to send soft copy of my photo to a mail id given by her which I did. (I have this mail id and will submit to you if required).

    Note: In the above 2 cases I was not given any acknowledgement even though I asked.

    After some days I received they sent me SMS with some reference number (11050717553540S8) and asked me respond to a letter which they claimed to had sent and I never received. I checked the status in HDFC site for which I got invalid reference number message. After this I tried to forget about this.

    But recently in the last week of September probably, an executive (I know her name and phone number which she gave me while sending collection agent's phone number as SMS) form HDFC bank called me again was trying to explain about their credit card offer. I explained her my issue and she assured me happy process this time. Again I submitted the above mentioned proofs except photo which the collection person took in his phone. But this time I was given an acknowledgement (Application number: CC08901376). The collection agent told me that I would receive verification call in 2 - 3 working days and if everything is fine, card will be issued in 2 weeks. This was happened on 04-10-2011. Till now I haven't heard from anyone form HDFC bank. On 18-10-2011, I called the same executive and they told that they would call me back after 1 hour which they didn't. Today I called help line where a lady was telling some excuses and became rude, cut the call. I was shocked with this experience. Immediately I called the same executive and she again told that she would call me after 5 minutes for which I have been waiting for an hour.

    Now I have lost complete hope on credit cards and especially on HDFC bank.
    Could you please help me in getting my card processed or getting documents back?
    I afraid they my documents get misused.

    Default Harrassing calls and threatening sms from HDFC manager

    Dear Sir

    My credit card number 4050282003172512.

    I have been regular customer for credit card and saving account for your bank for the last 4years,paying regularly(see my payment track)but some missings were happened.I am not a defaulter.

    I have been receiving phone calls for every 2hrs for the last 4days from number 040-44619696, and 9347532550 from the person Mr.Kiran, pressurizing indecently to pay last month minimum balance.When i have received phone call from him 4days back regarding payment,i have politely given that my father is in hospital i will pay the minimum balance with in time along with charges.But again every day he has been calling me by using the words pay last month balance then only talk. And sent sms from his mobile no. stating that if "you won't pay the balance tomorrow before 12noon, executive will come to your home address".

    I am not defaulter to you or any other banks.But your manager dealing me like a defaulter and threatening to have ugly seen at my home.Any how u are charging me 600/-for delay payment.My total payment is within credit limit(Rs 1.50,000/-) i have got extension of credit for 2times.No credit card holder do not show interest in late payment charges deliberately(like me).But some times happens due to some other important and emergency works.

    I have good opinion on HDFC Bank ,because of i have also worked in this group.
    Once again i repeat i will pay the minimum balance Rs 5000/- in HDFC Bank only before 23rd.I am not going to pay to executive.

    Red face unable to use verified by visa

    kindly note when I tried to register it says the card is registered yet at payment time it ask to register.On 19th and 20th the payment failed .The verified visa gives message that the card is registered.I also recieve some sms alert telling me not to enter card nos.Im confused .I wish to surrender the card and closwe my account with your bank.

    ear Sir,

    I had made a Settlement on my HDFC Credit Card No: 4346781013428768 already blocked why your Costumer Carer Department again calling I recieved a threatening call from them for the payment. This time, I made sure that whatever commitment these guys make to me, I should record them on my mobile and I did that. They confirmed me that my settlement can be validated if I pay Rs.9000/- which will be full and final settlement. To get rid of this Credit card, I paid said amount and they issued me a full and final settlement reciept. When again contacted for the NOC letter, the representative Mr. Susma (who has been calling me this time) as usual refused to issue me the letter saying I need to pay the full amount again.

    I need to file a case against the Bank's Online Transfer after 25.10.2011.

    Please do not call me again to again before 25.10.2011

    I request you to please help me on this

    Default Mediclaim policy payment deduct without my acceptence

    Dear Sir / madam,
    One day a call received by me from Dehli Number that we are issuing you mediclaim policy through your credit card. I told that i am not using Credit Cards. So that madam told me that you are lucky candidate and this is your last four digit of your credit card.

    We are sending this mediclaim policy at your address you please read this policy after your proper acceptance and signature we will issue you this mediclaim policy. After your acceptance we will deduct some primum that is around Rs. 450 per month and you will covered around 2.5 lacks per annum.

    I received one SMS and voice call by me through land line No. 01143145300 at my mobile No. 08053970819 that some amount I have to pay inlieu of my mediclaim policy. Till date no policy received by me and written acceptance given by me.

    It is totally froud and misrepresentation of the fact. We can not belive that this type of BIG Banks can be do this type of activities. I would like to submit a written complaint in the Consumer court.

    With reference to above card no I want to know from Credit card division of HDFCBANK to clarify whether any payment is pending from my side. if yes kindly provide the details to If no due kindly declare the same through mail reply to my mail id or call 9740230981.

    To be frank till now i am not in receipt of above said card to my from credit card division.

    my HDFC bank credit card reference number: 11100514892420S3

    I was applied to the HDFC bank credit card in the month of August with latest payslip of my current working organization.
    But till now i was not received credit card.

    Please find the below information.

    initially submitted my documents to the executive.
    ( Driving license(permanent address), Photo, current organization ID card, pay slip of that month, Present staying address in Hyderbad).

    After 1 week they asked me the address proof of another, i.e: permenent address.

    I submitted the my Passport copy.

    After 1 week they came to the verification my present staying address & they called me to the my mobile number & They called me to the my office land personal desk number for verification.

    After 1 month (2nd week of October) They came to the verification signature, They said that this signture is for before card issuing They are taking the one more verification signature paper.

    in this time i submitted the my payslips of " July, August, September, October" months also.

    Today(30/10/2011) i called to the customer care "credit card--040 66624332", They are saying that still my card status is still in Holding.

    From the August month onwards this process is going.
    I said to customer care people for issuing card to me if there is no problem please give me all my documents to me, but they are not ready to give me the my documents back.
