Dear Sir/Mam,
The below mail is regarding a credit card settlement which I had done in the
month of Feb 2009.
I was given a settlement offer of Rs 35000, which I was asked to pay by 21st
Feb, but due to some unavoidable circumstances I was unable to make the full
payment at that point of time, I had made the payment of 25,000 before the
asked date and I had paid the remaining amt of Rs 10,000 after a couple of
weeks. For which I am having a confirmation mail dated 17th Feb from Mr
Suresh that I can pay the amount is two installments. At that time I was
assured that the account is settled and the account has been closed. The
person who confirmed me this was Mr. L Suresh (sureshnarasimhan@hsbc.co.in).
Today I had received a call from HSBC stating that the settlement that I had
made is null and void.
I am getting regular calls from the below numbers and which is causing me
mental pressure:
04428111651
04428111668
9500431965
As I had already made the settlement and I was given the assurance that my
account is settled, so why I am getting calls at this point of time. If the
settlement is void if I had made the partial payment, some one from HSBC
must have told me this, but instead I was asked that there is no issue in
making the settlement.
Kindly help me on this as I have already made the payment to settle the
account.
Thanks and regards,
Romil Kachroo
