    Post Hdfc bank credit card division are so irresponsible and fraud

    THIS IS IN REGARD TO THE CREDIT CARD NO. - 5289456002604168
    DUE TO SOME REASON WE HAVENT PAID THE INTEREST FOR 2 MONTHS N THE CREDIT Card DIVISION HAVE PUT MY 49,000 RUPEES ON HOLD. AND MOREOVER I HAVE CALLED SO MANY EXECUTIVES , BRANCH MANAGER OF MY BANK AND CREDIT CARD DIVISION IN REGARD TO SETTLEMENT OF MY ACCOUNT & TO RELEASE MY AMOUNT AS MY MOTHER IS GOING TO GET OPERATED FOR GALL BLADDER PROBLEM. THEY ARE NEITHER LISTENING TO ME NOR RESPONDING ME WITH A SOLUTION TO THE SAME. AFTER 3 DAYS THEY SENT ME A LEGAL NOTICE OF 7 DAYS TOWARDS THE SETTLEMENT OF THE OUTSTANDING OF THE CREDIT CARD. N THEY PROVIDED ME THE NUMBERS MENTIONED ON THAT NOTICE. WHEN I M TRYING TO CALL THEM ON THE SAME NUMBERS THEY R EIETHER MAKING EXCUSES OR NOT RESPONDING TO MY CALLS N MESSAGES. THOSE EXECUTIVES TO WHOM HDFC BANK HAS REFERRED ME ON THE NOTICE R JUST WASTING MY TIME BY AVOIDING MY CALLS ? ALL THE EXECUTIVES ARE REPRENTING THEIR BANK IN A BAD WAY BY DOING SUCH KIND OF MISBEHAVIOUR.
    I M IN SO MUCH OF CRISIS N DUE TO THAT MY MOTHER'S OPERATION HAVE ALSO GOT DELAYED THEY HAVENT LEFT AN SOLUTION WITH ME BESIDES COMMITTING SUICIDE BECAUSE I M TOTALLY HELPLESS NOW. I SHOULDN'T HAVE CHOSEN HDFC BANK TO DEPOSIT MY FAMILY'S SAVINGS.
    PLEASE GUYS SUGGEST ME SOMETHING WAT SHOULD I DO AS I M GOING THRU WITH LOADS OF PAIN AND HUMILIATION NOW.

    Default Complaint Against HDFC Bank Card Services

    Hi,

    Please treat this email as a formal notice from me and the penultimate step before going to the court of law against HDFC Bank for mal-practices in the Collection of Credit Card Dues

    I understand you must have received lacs of complaints from your customers regarding pesky collection calls. This email also may just go completely ignored by the authorities considering the fact that there is a flaw in our collection system as on date.

    Still, I am writing to you today to COMPLAIN against one of your pesky , unruly and insensitive collection agent Vaishnav (9013203477)

    I have a Titanium International Credit Card # 5289 4550 0328 2677 with HDFC on my name. This is a new card and is yet to complete 1 year. Now owing to some really bad reasons, I haven't been paid completely since June this year and have for obvious reasons faced a lot of difficulties in keeping up with my expenses. It is quite obvious that this problem has shadowed my credit card as well. At present I guess I owe the bank an amount of around 75K and a minimum due of around 5k.

    If you see my account, then you will notice that despite these issues, I have tried to make whatever payments I could and live up to the dates - which is a clear indication that I am not trying to run away with this money and have the intent to make the complete payments regularly (including the over limit, finance and late fees). I have been in touch with this above mentioned agent since the beginning of this month and I have been telling him that I have a financial issue up my sleaves and due to the festive season ahead, this month it will be a little tough to organize any payment, however I will still try.

    Since then, this person kept calling me regularly and asking for money and I kept telling him that I have not been paid and it will be tough, however I am trying. Once when I did not pick up his call (Because he was calling me repeatedly and I was in my office) this person called up my wife and spoke very rudely to her, which was completely uncalled for and I guess to the best of my knowledge, not as per the laws also, especially for a card in this delinquency stage - when the customer is in touch with the agent, but did not pick up the calls because of his repeated attempts to call up despite of telling him that it is tough to make the payment.

    Today when I spoke to him this morning, I told him that I could not arrange the funds and will be able to make the payment only by 1st November 2011, when I get paid. In response this is what he has to say:

    - Sumit ji, you are a liar and if you did not want to make the payment then you should have told me in the beginning only
    - I am sending your card account to recovery and they will call your wife for money and send people at your place to collect everything you owe the bank
    - The bank will not be responsible for anything that happens to you after this (I have taken serious offence to this)
    - Sumit ji because of the fact that you are not making the payment of 2k, I am going to get a warning letter from my bank for holding your account for these many days (18 odd days, since the time we are in touch with each other)
    - He also said that he does not care if I complain, because if he is already getting one warning letter, then what difference will another letter make
    - He bluntly said, that if I cannot even arrange 2k, then what in the world can I do (when I told him that i will complain)

    I told him that I will be able to make the payment of 5k on 1st November 2011 before noon - but this person humiliated me like anything, completely expected, but unsolicited behavior!!!

    I want to understand, that if I was even ready to share my salary account statement to prove that I have not even been paid completely in the last many months and now that I have changed my job, I am sure I will be paid on 31st of this month still does any law give him the right to humiliate me like this? To threaten me that he knows my wife's number and he wont be responsible for anything that happens from here on?

    I am sure of making the payment on 1st and considering this collection stuff, I will try and get rid of your card at the earliest possible day in my life. I am genuinely surrounded by financial problems and still I have been humiliated like this! If anything happens to me, my family or our health because of this, then only and only HDFC Bank will be responsible for this. Any loss to my health, mental state or anything else for that matter will be only HDFC Bank's responsibility!

    I am sharing this email on other forums as well to enlighten people about HDFC's such practices. I am highly disappointed!!!

Now owing to some really bad reasons, I haven't been paying completely since January this year and have for obvious reasons faced a lot of difficulties in keeping up with my expenses. It is quite obvious that this problem has shadowed my credit card as well.

    If you see my account, then you will notice that despite these issues, I have tried to make whatever payments I could and live up to the dates - which is a clear indication that I am not trying to run away with this money and have the intent to make the complete payments regularly (including the over limit, finance and late fees). Once when I did not pick up his call (Because he was calling me repeatedly and I was in my office) this person went to my home with 4 other people & spoke very rudely with my wife & mother, which was completely uncalled for and I guess to the best of my knowledge, not as per the laws also, especially for a card in this delinquency stage - when the customer is in touch with the agent, but did not pick up the calls because of his repeated attempts to call up despite of telling him that it is tough to make the payment.

    Today when I spoke to him this morning, I told him that I could not arrange the funds and will be able to make the payment only by 15th November 2011, when I get paid. In response this is what he has to say:

    - you are a liar and if you did not want to make the payment then you should have told me in the beginning only
    - am I an idiot to get you a settlement ( Which was uncalled for by me)
    - he has got the card settled for 42,000 in 2 EMI's & the first EMI of 15000/- was paid by him & his manager.Why did these people make a payment on my behalf & who are they to demand it from me.

    I told him that I will be able to make the payment on 15th November 2011 before noon - but this person humiliated me like anything, completely expected, but unsolicited behavior!!!

    I am sure of making the payment and considering this collection stuff, I will try and get rid of your card at the earliest possible day in my life. I am genuinely surrounded by financial problems and still I have been humiliated like this! If anything happens to me, my family or our health because of this, then only and only HDFC Bank will be responsible for this. Any loss to my health, mental state or anything else for that matter will be only HDFC Bank's responsibility!

    I am sharing this email on other forums as well to enlighten people about HDFC's such practices. I am highly disappointed!!!

    Exclamation Hdfc credit card and card division are fruad

    I have taken a credit card from hdfc bank, i was paying my due as per the date,and after some days i left india and came to gulf , a lmost 3 years gone they send a court notice in the name of advocate sathiya raj. Their remarks like . You have due to hdfc bank rs 77000, pls make the payment befor we take action. Nothing else, i called the people there is no response
    pls guide me what can i do now, whom want i conduct regarding the issue
    because of the issue , me and my family suffering , me and my family dont know ant thing , why should i pay the amount

    Default Irrelevant charges added to my credit card

    Hi,

    I have HDFC credit card with no. 4617 XXXX XXXX 5074. I already mailed written hard-copy stating that I have never applied for any insurance policy on my credit card and also took continuous follow up towards customer care from last three months to clear those insurance charges and every time I was getting assurances from customer care that it will be going to clear in the next month billing cycle and that charges amount got accumulated from Rs. 54 to Rs. 210 now.
    These are the types of follow ups that I took with credit card section and customer care and the replies I got :
    • Credit Shield Policy from HDFC ARGO, no. 50804798, has been added to my card. (this was without any notification or confirmation from my side)
    • Credit Shield Policy cancellation reference no. 11257574137
    • On 22-09-2011, talked to credit card section regarding the charges are not getting revert, got reply to check the amount in next statement. Statement generation date for my card is 27th of every month.
    • So many times called on 02041205834 but the call was not received by any one.
    • On 10-10-2011, call got received and I raised the same issue of late fee revert. I asked for complaint id for this conversation, but got reply that the conversation is getting recorded so need of any reference id, and call them after 2 days.
    • After few days when I called back, I have been redirected to credit card customer care.
    • I contacted customer care and got reply to check in next billing statement, the amount will be getting cleared.
    • On 20-10-2010, I called customer care, I got reply to wait till 07th Nov to get clear the outstanding amount of Rs. 195. From my side I also cleared them that I will not use my card till the charges will not get revert.
    • On 19-11-2011, as the amount wasn’t cleared, I raised the same issue and with assurance of getting the amount cleared in the next billing cycle I got no dues request id 11313705387
    • On 28-11-2011, when I called customer care, they told me this charges will not be getting reversed and in case write a mail to customer services.
    Even I had never asked for credit card, but the HDFC people use to call me multiple times a day to get a credit card stating it is absolutely free for you. To come across these phone calls, I decided to get it. But how much free the card is and how painful it is I realized it now.
    Today when I wrote a mail to customerservices.card@hdfc, I got call from them in the evening stating that the charges can't be revert as the policy was assigned to me based on my confirmation. This is totally wrong and unethical.
    My concern is that, the same statement they would have delivered me when I have contacted them first time so that the amount could not been raise from Rs.54 to Rs.210.

    I request you to look into the matter on priority.

    Regarding Credit Card ending xxxx xxxx xxxx 2747

    Sir/Madam,

    I am using the above mentioned credit card since a long time & have a very old and preferred relation with your esteemed bank..
    I am holding 4 credit cards & 5 savings account (within the family) in HDFC Bank.. & I have a good amount of regular transaction..
    I have always tried to pay the credit card bills on or before the due date to avoid any inconvenience & to keep a good track record with your bank,
    Since I was out of station last month because of my grandfather's death & was going through a tough time mentally.. I failed to make the payment before due date & it was just late for 5-6 days... due date was 3rd Jan, 2012 & the payment was done on 8th Jan,2012..
    I was being charged Late fee of Rs.350/- & Finance charges of Rs.362/- which I felt is really unfair on your part..
    I use this card regularly to maintain good relation with your bank but if these useless charges will not be waived off then whats the use of maintaining a good relation..
    Hence I request you to Kindly wave off the above charges..
    Hope the needful to be done soon & my relationship with HDFC bank will be taken care of..
    or else I will clear all the dues in my card & surrender the card at the earliest..
