Hello,
This is Narendra, new to this forum. Currently I am not here to complaint on some one. I guess i am lacking information.
I was having two credit cards we me from (SC & HSBC). I have haply used both the cards 25K in SC and 8K in HSBC. Naturally, I too was in financial crisis at sometime and ran away from bankers to pay them. But after 1 year, SC back somehow caught me and asked me to refund the outstanding amount, till that time I was earning so I have paid they total outstanding amount (total over due/not settlement).
After 2 more years HSBC also contacted me to repay they amount, to the surprise the amount was 75k, where may card limit is 15k and I have used 8k. So without having knowledge of CIBIL, I have gone for settlement of 15k for two instalments. After 1 more year I have tried to buy a 4 wheeler by applying a loan, to my surprise the HSBC card was not settled and obviously bank has rejected my application. I have ran to HSBC and they chilling told me that the card was not settled. Again I have requested HSBC executive to give me solution, and the one they have given is to clear complete amount which 1Lac, where my card is having limit of 15k and I have taken settlement for 15 K and used only 8k initially.
Finally I came to understand that it's my mistake to runway without paying bankers.
And again finally I have paid complete outstanding amount (total overdue/not settlement).
From the above I want to know that what should be the status for each banker entry in my CIBIL report (defaulted/closed/written off/settled).
Please please let me know the answer what should be the status from banker to CIBIL.
Thanks in advance.
