It is highly degressive for a company of ICICI Bank's recognition to provide such poor services and more so when I had already made the outstanding payment of Rs 300 (wheras my Total due amount was Rs 261.04) well before the due date in form of a Citibank cheque no "149294" dated 6th dec'09 . To assist in making my payment successful and intimate me in case of any errors happening, I had even provided my cell no. at the back side.
But, to my surprise, instead of calling me and letting me know the status of my cheque they could spare enough time, money and effort to call me continously through their recovery agents who instead levied on me extra charges of 800 INR Approx.
This included Late payment and additional tax on it.
This is a very bad example of the customer care not being able to service said standards, and who in turn leave no stone unturned to behave rudely with customers especially at times when their support is most solicited.
I am at loss of words as to how do i address this problem to which I already have incurred lots of valuable office time, and unnecessary costs and energy which could have been much better used.
Moreover, they dont provide any Managers' email ids to contact incase of discrepancies.
Please help me fight this corrupt bank.
