I support this complaint.
ABN AMRO isssued me freedom card last year. card #**** **** **** 3936 While issuing the card the executive told me that for Big corporates we are issuing the card free of cost. if u dont use there will be no charges like renewal will be applied to you. i havent used that card for a year. now the ABN Amro renewed my card & without informing me charged 595.00 Rs. for renewal charge. i didnt not pay the amount as it was communicated that it is a free card. now they are chargning me late fee of 350.00 Rs per month and amount comes to 2200.00.
Now i am getting call from recovery dept and they are telling me that we will Mark you and you will not get VISA and bla bla bla.
We should take a hard action on Banks like ABN AMRO as they give wrong information to the customer while issuing a card. i have already logged a complaint in ABN AMRO but not getting good reply. It is really headache.
