Dear Sir, I had cancelled the card no 4006 6760 1712 6825 in the month of Sep 08 vide transaction no 0072740064227 and the cancellation was made post clearance of the amount due in the Aug 08 statement as full and final settlement. This was later confirmed telephonically with the customer care team. The card was also expiring in Sep 08 and the same was destroyed immediately as advised by the customer care team. However, recently I have started receiving calls from SBI Cards advising me about some outstanding amount standing unpaid in my account. I would like to bring to your kind notice that the card already stands cancelled and one pre-requisite for ensuring cancellation is no outstanding amount payable on the card at the time of cancellation. Despite on-time payment of all my dues I have been put into a lot of mental agony for the only reason that I have got my card cancelled which happens to be a loss of business for SBI Cards
