You are not alone dear we also face the same problem, I do not know how the people still go to them, This is about my wife Aarti Manuja's credit card number 4346781100958071 (Gold Woman Card) . For the last one year I have been interacting with the bank's customer care on phone as well as email records, telling them that I have not been receiving the statements on time and have also on many occassions requested them to waive off the late payment fee as 1. I wasn't receiving the statements and second when I had lodged my first complaint with bank, they should have not levied any further interest and late payment fee. I never received any satisfactory reply from the bank, I have spent atleast INR 2000 in phone calls from STD, and all i was told to hold on and then that my complaint has been lodged, after wards I even offered to take the principal amount plus interest and late payment for 6 months, but again no response. Now without any intimation, reminder, call bank has forcefully ceased around 25000 Rs. from my HDFC bank account. I feel cheated as being a consumer I should have been atleast informed about this action.
This has lead to a lot of finacial and mental damnage to me as, my entire financal planning has been up rooted with this sudden debit. I was not able to meet my other financial commited and this also led to lot of embarrasement.
I want bank to credit back the amount which they have forcefully ceased and to settle my credit card issue by accepting prinicpal amount.
