    Default Complaitn against HDFC BANK Credit Card Division

    The HDFC Bank credit Card Division has held an amount of Rs 15841/- from my salaried account present in HDFC Bank. This salaried account has no link with any product of HDFC.
    My Credit Card was pick pocketed in metro station for which i have already logged a complaint in HDFC Customer Care and logged a G.D at Regent Park police station.
    I have cleared all the dues on my card which i took.
    No information was given to me regarding this hold,when i called up the customer care i got to know that it has been kept on hold by credit card deptt.

    I want to file a case against HDFC Bank
    Pl help.

    Hi,

    The HDFC Bank credit Card Division has held an amount of Rs 8049/- from my salaried Account present in HDFC Bank. This salaried account has no link with any product of HDFC.

    I was without job for last 8-8 months due to this i was not paid any amount to HDFC bank also I intimate this to HDFC bank. Even given this information they were coming at my home and forcing me to give their credit due. Now i got the job and an account of HDFC was opened as salary account. In my first month salary they hold Rs 8049.

    No information was given to me regarding this hold,when i called up the customer care i got to know that it has been kept on hold by credit card deptt.

    I want to file a case against HDFC Bank
    Pl help.

    Default Bad expeirence with hdfc credit card and repeatetly haressment by their executives

    I request you pay your kind attention to the fact the i sourabh jhajharia s/o late kanti prasad jhajharia residing at 21/ d mohan lal street, shyambazar kolkjata 700004 having contact no. 9836416408 am holder of hdfc bank credit card no. 4346772005202220 which was issued to me on october 2007, but at november i called and asked them if i purchased something then it is possible to convert it to emi (installment) the they replied it is possible and they will convert my purchase amount to emi, so i purchased goods worth rs. 10000 approx an di found that bill came to me of full amount and it has not converted to installment, than i started to pay the amount in installment with late fees and other charges but on 26.102008 my mother want to recovery office at kolkata (gillander house) and asked them to settle my card and they agreed to settle the card at rs. 8000 against that we have also paid the ist installment of rs. 2263 approx and also received the settlement letter from bank against the same but after that bank told us they will be coming to our home and received the post dated cheque of remaining amount but it they does not came to receive the same after a year they me and asked to pay rs. 45000 including of charges but when i replied that i have the letter of settlement issued by bank they asked me to fax that copy and i did so after that another person in other month called me and asked me to pay the amount also used slang words to my mother also forced me to pay the amount this happened for long time. But i denied to pay so as i was having the letter of the bank and i agreed to pay the settlement amount as per letter issued by bank employee after several conversation i does not help me out and after that bank blocked my salary account, sir i am very poor recently i mate an unfortunate incident my father expired recently and i am only the person earning in my family and my salary is rs. 4300 and if bank will block that amount i will be in deep trouble i will not be able to feed my family, so i request you to please look into the matter and please try to release my account and settle the credit card issue, i really beg to you please try to release my salary account sir, as you only can justify that my salary is not to high and i am only the person earning in my family of 3 members it is very difficult to run the family in such short amount and upon that if the account is blocked than what kind of trouble i am facing looking that i hope you will look upon my request and try to release the salary account

    Here's an interesting news-item for all those who have suffered harassment and humiliation at the hands of HDFC Bank Credit Card Customer Care Executives:

    Hisar, June 17
    A local court has summoned Aditya Puri, Managing Director of HDFC Bank, to appear in the court on July 17 in connection with a complaint filed against him on charges of extortion under Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code.

    The complainant, local resident Gagandeep Mehta, has alleged that he held an HDFC Bank credit card and had been making regular payments to the bank. However, he changed his residence after which he did not receive any monthly statements.

    The bank issued him a recovery notice for having failed to pay the minimum outstanding dues. The complainant said after receiving the notice he deposited Rs 11,000 on February 2 last year and sought duplicate bank statements from December, 2008, to March, 2009. The bank refused to supply the statements.

    He again deposited a total of Rs 14,000 on three occasions, but the statements were still not supplied.

    Later, the bank offered him a settlement for Rs 27,600. However, when he asked for details of transactions, the bank refused. Instead he was issued a legal notice asking him to pay Rs 47,005. He alleged that he was threatened and abused by bank officials.

    The complainant then filed a complaint in the court of Sunita Gupta, Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, who has summoned Puri on July 17 to stand trial.

    I am Subrata Sarkar credit card no 4346 7720 0632 7216 facing some financial problem last 6 months. But somehow I am paying my minimum charges in every month. One lady Ms. Seema her mobile No 9910470641 is calling me last 7 dayas for payment . and I inform her that this month I am not able to pay , next month I will pay lump some money positively . But from Yesterday She is threading me and using slang language. Please take the matter seriously .

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Myself Pradipta Sen,credit card no 5176 5210 0805 9125 is getting regular calls from HDFC card division for the last 10 days. As the history goes what ever the principal amount that i have purchased i have paid back long back and along with extra interest till Feb 10( SCB: Chq No.091973). With every deposit i also requested the manager of credit card division to write off the Interest that the Bank was charging me though i was submitting the amount before my due date. And it was everytime that the CArd division was encashing the amount after due date. All this facts was intimated by me to the card division several time by writing. But when no action was taken from the Card Division end i had to cancel the card. And a due clarification call also came to me from the local office regarding the cancellation confirmation on Feb2010 and i agreed to that. After that day no call and no more statement/letter came to me regarding any settlement issues. Suddenly all this harassement calls are coming from the bank end from ph. no. 9312832510/011145647941. And when asked why this calls are coming to me so lately that my Interest rose high up,the answer came that they were not having my numbers. So i duely request the forum end to take care ofmy matter seriously and help me out.

    Default Harassment that i faced.... needs help

    I Miss Chetna Naik using Visa Gold Credit Card nd my number is # 4346 7810 0749 3000 As i am using this card from last 5-6years and i always made a payment on time as u can chek the records of mine in your system , but as i m not working from last 4months. Wat ever i was having saving i am using for my day to day expense and other expenses and also i made payment of my hdfc card paynt frm 2mnths my Total amnt due is 20,322/- .As now not on job so der is lack of funds with me. This is my 2nd month i have not made payment of hdfc card payment.
    I am hunting for a job but not getting good opportunity.

    When ever i get a call from collection executive so i told dat person all the details about my job nd also tld him i want to pay my all dues but now i dont have job so cant py now but as i get a job nd vl get funds i will definitely pay bcoz i want to make paymnt to the bank and i dont want to spoil my relation with the bank... But then to i am always getting calls from collection persn name Mr. Satish from number # 02261208300 he was v v rude on call, not listening at all was only asking for the part amount . I told him i vil make pynt but nw i dont have money at all.

    I dont understand how Collection Supervisor Mr. Satish can ask me to arrange funds from my parents or relatives.
    I am v much frustrated from this calls.
    I request u i want to pay the credit card dues but as i vl get job i vil definitely make payment.... Pls request u inform dem not to call again n again or at resident as my father is handicapped person or visit at resident.

    Thumbs down Harrasment to Family members fr recovery @ odd hours by HDFC Bank-SUDHIR SUVARNA

    This is to bring to your notice that Mr. Sudhir Suvarna HDFC bank member called me up during my official hours and asked me for my brothers recovery of credit card payment of Rs.1400/-. My brother who has already done the payment having the necessary slip of the same and proof of payments done still is being harrassed and the same calls are done to me for his recovery.

    Mr. Sudhir Suvarna or any HDFC bank has no right ot harrass family memebrs. He has called up several times and has being talking with disrespect to us with me as well as my brother. On asking him to Stop and deal with the end customer to whom the credit card is being given he retaliates saying that you are his sister you should ask him to pick calls and make payment. Mr. Sudhir has no concerned to tell this to anyone, what we have to do and not with our family, I think Mr. Sudhir suvarna also speaks with his wife, mother and duagther this way. On telling the same shall report to Police, he has asked us to do so be giving us his employee no:S2994.

    He has no ethics at all. I would request to lodge strict complaint and action be taken against Sudhir Suvarna, HDFC Bank. So that is future no customer is harrassed this way.


    HDFC HAS LOST CREDITABILITY BY THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES AND I BET WILL NOT SURVIVE FOR LONG IN FUTURE.

    The credit card bearing no 4617 8630 0009 4126 is not honoring my payments
    on calling the call center the curt answer was my out standing payment is the cause
    pl be informed that as on date i was not delaying any payments made on thecard
    pl do clarify this and reactiviate the card immdtly

    a transaction of rupees 6,999 was made from my card no 4645xxxxxxxx4672 on dated 26th december 2011 without my prior knowledge and consent
    I complaint regarding transaction of rupee 6999 which is transfer by cache mercantile. This company executive fraud with me and I informed to hdfc credit card customer care executive before 38 days and I send a mail to their graviss department I got call from them but my money DID not credit to my account till the time. I have doubt bank also meet with this fraud company. So I request to you please take some serious action against both because we are working day and night to earn this amount.
    Before this time I already complaint and I mention complaint below

    the credit card no.4645xxxxxxxx4672 is being used by me since long. On 26 december 2011 I got call from numbers +911409560031 claiming to call from hdfc card & they called me by my name.
    He offered me new card named as diners plus card as a complimentary card to my hdfc card and informd me about the subsequent facilities e.G. 25% discount on purchases by the use of card etc.
    He told me the various benefits of the card being offered & said there would be no charges for the same. And the facility will be provided absolutely free of cost. Hence I consented for his proposal. And again I confirmed him about charges and told him to view this facility subject to levying no charges. Then he enquired about my credit card details. I provided him the same.
    After few minutes I received on my mobile that "transaction of rs.6999.00 made on hdfc credit card xx4672 at cache mercantile pvt ltd on 26 dec 11"
    on receipts of this message I immediately contacted hdfc card and told him my problems & blocked my card. As well as I also spoke to customer care executive he told to me our representative will contact you within 2 working days."
    I, therefore, request you to take necessary action against ivrcache mercantile pvt ltd.
