Default TATA AIG Policy debited on HSBC CC even after policy was asked to be cancelled

    Sir/Mam

I have gone for TATA AIG through HSBC. Once i got the policy papers for TATA AIG. I felt that i was not intrested on the same and called up HSBC for cancelling the same. But later i found out that i was debited for TATA AIG for the second month also. It seems that the cancellation information was not passed by HSBC to TATA AIG, which has led to the second month charges for the policy. Again i called up HSBC to get it cancelled and got the policy cancelled in the month of jan 2009. Now HSBC is asking me to pay the balance amount on the CC, where in the balance amount in my CC till date is due to the second month policy charges and its late payment charges (late payment charges is due to me not willing to pay the second month policy charges alone). Kindly advice how i have to proceed with the error done by HSBC.

I have spoken with HSBC and they are not willing to take up anything i say, as i do not have any refrence number for the call i made to HSBC for cancelling the policy.

    Need your kind advice.

    Regards,
    Selwyn.

    Angry Complaint against HSBC Bank

    Dear Consumer Court,

I have aa HSBC Credit Card **** **** **** 6440, for which I regularly kept paying whatever I was using. I got a anonymous call from TATA AIG Insurence to take an insurence through my HSBC Credit card. Even if I told no they keep on pursuing me and asked for my confirmation for the same.
I keep on saying No but the policy was given to me and they started deducting premium from my credit card. I came to know about the same when I saw the premium has been deducted from my creit card account. I immediately requested to stop this payment and not to pay any future payment to TATA AIG from my credit card account. But, the bank kep on deducting the premium for next two month in spite of my request to cancel my card. I stopped using the credit card after paying all my legitimate dues (the dues for which I made purchases + I also paid first month premium) of Rs. 11000/- .

Even though I am not using the card since last 6 month (exactly from 31 Oct 2008) and requested multiple times to cancel my card through email/customer care, HSBC Bank keep on sending monthly statements to me adding many charges each month.

    Please suggest me its remedy.

    thanks and regards,
    Pankaj Pathak
