Dear Sir/Madam,

I was using my credit card from past 01 year in Month of aug & sep due to sudden death of my father i was not able to pay my minimum amount of 1500/- to the bank my total outstanding balance was 14312/- I'am not sure. Now they have put interests for just 2months my total outstanding shows as 19210/- i'am not bothered about paying the above said money. They have blocked my salary account in that i have 8210/- rupees where i'am not able to access it when enquired they said it can not be released since you have not made the credit card payment. What should i do i tried contacting head office branch to talk to the Manager which was denied by customer service executive. At this point of time i'am not understanding what to do b,coz i'am the only bread winner at home if still they are not releasing the amount i think i should be taking some extereme steps or should report the same to Media.

I hope someone can help in releasing my salary account & will pay my outstanding amount on EMI basis

i would like to file a complaint against hdfc cc people. i was having an account with hdfc before 4 yrs 2008 and i had a cc for that account. My limit was 40000-45000 approx. I asked for the settlement in 2009 and aggreed to have full and final settlement for 20000/- till that i had been paid dues. As per settlement i paid the amount the thing is the agent who came and collected money from me didnt show the letter , when i asked for that he said the receipt is enough to have that as proof once he collected 20000/- he said that i need not to pay there after . i didint have the knowledge that i need to getr noc from the concern bank as proof of settelment. After so many years now people from the bank calling and harraseing me to the extent. Though i paid i aggreed to pay the amount, they said i need to pay 150000 as outstanding amount and finally they sent me a letter of settlement again for 51000/- they forced and shouted me like anything and they threatned me like any thing. I asked for time they said i have to pay it immediately or else they said they will put me in jail, i was ulmost begging them i asked for atleast 6months of time to pay the amount. i asked them about my previous payment and settlement, they replied like nothing has been paid in my account so far. I dont know what happened to my 20000/- After their call and visit to my home i paid the cheque amount of 50000/- since they forced me like anything i was forced to pay that cheque else i would nt. They started to come to my home in the early morning timings like before 7am and one fine day they folloewd me till my office. They started to shout and harrase me in the office before my collegues. Right now i dont have enough money to pay and settle the amount. Anybody help reg this issue. Day before yesterday they came to my home and spoke with my husband. They told him they will all come to my office by tomorrow 18.4.2012 and again they will go to any extebt. If they continious to do the same what should be the reaction from my side. Kinldy help me anybody

Do I have to wait for the RBI - BO process or I can directly approach the consumer court. HDFC without intimation prior or after the transaction allows INR 7007 to be withdrawn when the account was barred for any online usage.

My saving account no 0033114000**** has been barred / stopped for online transaction from March 2010, which has also been confirmed by hdfc. Still HDFC have allowed debit of INR 7007/- without my permission as also not intimated to me through SMS alert under the normal practise followed and normally received by me and subscribed by me and required by RBI .
Hence HDFC Bank has given wrongful access to my account online ( which does not have online facility) which is not authorised by me nor is also available to me as I has tried to access the account online on 30 April 2010 and HDFC system did not allow me as fresh documents and registrations is required.

I want to file a complaint against HDFC CC Dept. and against the HDFC bank. I was customer of HDFC bank, I have a current account in HDFC bank from 2008, & use to do a good transaction every month and on the basis of my current account the CC agent have pushed me a credit card with a limit of 10000.00 (Ten Thousand only). I have use the card as well as I uses to make the payment of the due amount regularly, but when they told me that there was a fine on my account then I ask for the card statement from them which they or HDFC bank has not sent to me. After that I thought to close the credit card and ask for the full and final settlements to the CC agent who called me on my home phone. I told him to come to my house or even I asked him where I have to come for the settlement for the credit card, he told me that he will come to my home which was register with HDFC bank ( which appear on the account), but he didn’t came after that regularly I use to get calls from the recovery agents (Credit Card agents) and they use to give threat to me and uses abusive languages, when I was not there In my home they use to call and when my mother use to pick the call they use to use threat and use abuses languages which is very sad. After that when I told them to come and collect the cash the principal amount 9000.00 ( nine thousand only) which was told by the CC recovery agent and the manager from HDFC Glinder House Kolkata and do the full and final settlement they told that they will send a agent but no one came ( I am telling about the year of 2009 ), after that even I have stop all the transaction from the current account which I use to have for this reason.
Now again after 2 years in 2011 from September the cc recovery agents started to call me again for the payment, They said that they are calling from Glinder House Kolkata, and now they are saying that I have to pay 54096.00 Approx , I don't understand for what reason. I again told them to send me a statement with entire details even I spoke to the manager, but I haven't got any statement yet from them nor any document, Again when the cc agent name Mr. Ajay called me I told that I want to speak with the Manager only then he transfer the call to him after a long request, I told the manager that send me the details but he told me that he can’t send any details he told me for the full and final settlement and I was agreed I asked him what I have to do & how much I have to pay for this , He told me I have to pay the Principal amount Rs.9000.00 ( Nine Thousand Only) after that the case will get close, I agree with that & I told him to send the person to my place But from that they till today no one came for the same.
Today I receive a letter from M/S Poornima & Saradha, Advocates, High Court, Chennai stating that I have a outstanding dues of Rs. 54065.93 towards HDFC Bank credit Card No. 4346772005024525. They have sent me the notice that I have to pay the said amount within 7 days or else, I have to pay the amount Rs. 54065.93 @ 18% p.a interest from the date of filling of suit till the date of payment and / or realization of the said amount.
( Ref : S.no 2668 HD\PDLN(KOL)-Nov-09 – 2011 ( Which this advocates sent me)
So I would like to know from the HDFC bank authority is this the way HDFC bank runs its business by harassing the people. Does this will the HDFC bank able to retain their customers or attract new customers?
Sir/Madam, I am not in the position to pay such a big amount. I am ready to pay the principal amount and do the full and final settlement. If any more force will be done by the HDFC bank , or their associates including the recovery agents and the advocates to pay the Rs.54065.93 then I will bound to commit suicide and the entire blame will be on the HDFC bank .
So please look into this matter seriously and stop harassing the people. Looking forward for some positive/ motivated reply and a strict action from HDFC.

I was customer of HDFC bank, I have a current account in HDFC bank from 2008, & use to do a good transaction every month and on the basis of my Salary account. the CC agent have pushed me a credit card with a limit of 30000.00 (thirty Thousand only)I am used credit card, initially i am with one corp company, they opened salary account for all staffs with the help of an executive coming with forms to office, they got offered with company an credit card form along with salary account, it was in limit of 30k, i am used nearly 16k, also paid dues by bank itself, when i am got ill for few months to company i missed out salary also missed to pay the dues, returned to job and got credited of my salary to my account, they got freeze my account, i went to bank asked for this, they said its blocked due to non payment of credit card, i said they had not intimated for any non payment it will get freeze, finally i asked to take the cash if u enough i ll not pay further, even still few years passed i am not get any intimations, now i am out of job and low financial condition, they multiple the amount to70k, even though pawn brokers will not put this much interest, now i can pay but i need some time also i can pay 10k in final and full settlement, u r forcing the card also to make usage the card also, y don't u cont. quicker at the time on service, and due date passed, its the type of cheating the customer, very much burden now...
