I am sorry to say but the service offered by HDFC bank is utterly not up to the standards. I keep on receiving messages on my mobile phone regarding the new offers. I believed on the offers and made the purchase. But there is no sign of discount offered to me on my bill.
Also when i called the call center and asked them to tell me a place where i can go an settle my account , they had no reply to it and said you cannot settle the account at any bank branch. The payment department or the collection department called me up and asked for the payment. When i asked them that i am not happy with the service and please close my card and collect the final payment with all dues and provide me the discount that i am eligible for. But than there representative asked me to make minimum payment and later they can settle the issue. i did exactly the same and i did not receive a word from them until next month when again i did not make any payment.
When this time i explained the collection department what happened to the things that was discussed last time with the other representative from your department. He asked me they don't rely on an Oral commitment.

I again called call center and asked them to settle my account , thy still have the same answer. Also the collection department representative are very harsh on phone and don't have manner to talk.
