This is a discussion on ICICI Credit card dept. within the Credit Card forums, part of the Loan category; Its being nearly 3 months we got so many phone calls from a ICICI call center and some lady riya ...
Its being nearly 3 months we got so many phone calls from a ICICI call center and some lady riya was saying that they are provide the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. At that time we simply said that we are not interested.
But after few days passed a courier boy delivered us a packet contain a life insurance policy at our home and by then the ICICI customer service are calling me and asking me to pay the bill. Infact we did not asked for any life insurance policy because we don’t want any policy from ICICI.
And if we make calls to the ICICI customer care people and asking to cancel the both the credit card and life policy we were never applied but when we call to ICICI credit card dept. they say us to call to the insurance dept. first and vice versa.
Hello,
We have received many complaints related to ICICI credit card services, many times consumer court fined them but still we are getting complaints again and again.
Kindly share your contact details, we will guide you further accordingly.

Concerned authorities at consumer court and national consumer redresal forum:i
approach with lot of hope as the Bank is taking consumer to ride at their on will
and wish.Inspite of my repeated requests no direct reply is being given but mails
are being answred round and round.Bank should be penalised for their mastakes as
tyey do to thier customers.I think they were replying like this either they thought
i will not approach any authority and will get fed up and leave the matter or they
have scant regard for power of conumer rights and authorities. This all is clear form
mails ihave echanged with them below.

Dear Mr K.A.Rama,
From your reply one thing is clear that you are very smart people and answer
the queries not directly but you go round and round.I am very clear since
you donot leave your customers for any mistake done by them and charge them
I should also be compensated for the number of mistakes you have done you
just cant get out by regretting or saying sorry. Please reply issues raised
by me point wise.Further regarding shifting reward points to someother
agency without even informing in advance shows your bad intention as the
value which iget through I mint is less than as compared to your list which
you can see yourself or I will prove in front of the competent authorities
One more wring feedback in your last Emails which I didn't point out last
time is you have informed that the points get double when transferred to
imint where as per information its 1.5 times don't say sorry once again and
plea it was by mistake because your attitude is clear to mislead your
customers.Would like to bring to authorities whether banks can act
arbitrarily and cause loss to customer by changing the policies at their
free will.
Would request for point wise immediate reply without regretting for anything.
Best Regards,
J.P.Singh

Dear Sir,
After 4 years of my using your card, and numerous
times I have written to you the way you deal with
your customer, and no difference it makes to you for
the complaints your customer makes and highhanded
attitude you have towards your customers has been
once again proved today which I am writing below.I
have been all along reading the way you threaten
your customers and for which numerous times
authorities have reprimanded you ,but looks like it
doesn't effect you and you will not listen till some
body really take you to the authorities which I can
prove I have total record of the mails I have
exchanged with you where in you have acted only when
I complained to the authorities and your attitude
changed within days. Here I would like to inform you
which I have earlier raised you do mistakes you and
you want to get away by simply regretting and saying
sorry, where as when your customer does mistake you
simply penalize and threaten. This time I am asking
for the compensation for the mistake you have done
which is highlighted in below mail I would like the
compensation for the time I have spend and the
number of telephone calls I have made and the
harassment I have gone through, the amount for which
I will raise when you agree to this or the concerned
authorities ask me if you donor respond.
Now my interaction I had with you today through your
executive Mr Michel Dsoza.I had called for
redemption of my rewards points which I have earned
over the years by using your card b=which I had done
because I had some good rewards which of were use to
me (I could have used other available cards also)for
which you had sent me the list also when I finalized
my decision I called you and now get the reply that
I can not redeem the same with you and you have
transferred my points some bullshit programme I
Mint. When is asked how can you do this reply was we
can take any decision.let me inform you that I was
using the card in view of certain benefits ,I agree
you can do some changes but you have to inform the
customer and would have used my points till that
date anf further I would have taken decision whether
I want to continue or not and there would have been
no faults of your.for your information very reputed
bank and done this type of change recently and they
informed the customer to reddm the points with lot
of time given in between to take decision for which
I have total documentary proof which can be provided
once it is required.your executive once again was
showing that you have given card free to me let me
tell you and you are already aware that you earn lot
of money when we use your card I.e you are not doing
any charity further more you have been upgrading my
cards without even my asking since you saw my usage
and you were earning more for which you have some
special rewards for higher cards.that's the e reason
I was using your card.
Would request you to immediately respond to all my
queries and also I ask for compensation for the time
and effort I am putting once again this time in
addition to my last complaint and other past
complaints for which you have accepted the
mistakes.Further I am mot making this as reason to
hold your payment, but for speedy redressal of my
complaints I would like to inform you that I will
not be making my outstanding payment of around Rs
45000 till you resolve all my queries with suitable
reply and you will be solely responsible for any
delay as we still have time till 15th April that is
the due date.So would request you to please respond
well in time.Once i hear from you iwll take the
further couse and involve the authrities/agencies
who can help me.
Here I would like to tell you that your attitude
towards the customers have forced me to take up
this case and also the harassment you put your
customers through as many of them donot have time or
our chalta hai attitude of which you take advantage
and you earn millions and your good balance sheets
and also you get your hefty salaries, here I would
like to warn the person who reads this and replies
you can also be victim one day of these type of
organizations.
