    Angry HDFC Bank Credit card Be carefull

    I'm using the HDFC Platinum Plus Credit card for last 4 years. I received this message on my mobile "txnalert thank you for using HDFC bank credit card for 1000.00 in DUMMY ME BT ONLINE @ 25-Jan-2011 11:15AM and 1000.00 debited from my hdfc cc and i didn't do any transaction i called hdfc call center they said 1000Rs is n pipe line they have taken the compliant to block the card. but i am really surprised having such brand name how can they have such a poor online security. this is something they should look seriously.I am not going to pay to bank that amount even if i have to take this bank to consumer court.

    I'm using the HDFC Titanium Credit card for last 3 months. I received this message on my mobile "txnalert thank you for using HDFC bank credit card for 1000.00 in MUMBAI at DUMMY ME BT ONLINE @ 30-August-2011 16:16:19, and 1000.00 debited from my hdfc cc and i didn't do any transaction i called hdfc call center they said 1000Rs is n pipe line they have taken the compliant to block the card. It's unfortunate for HDFC.Its very serious matter. My request is that any appropriate action.

    Default HDFC Credit Card..fraud

    Hi,

    I am using the HDFC Bank credit from past few year and today i got the message from HDFC Bank phone alert that my credit card has been used for 1000 RS in Mumbai at DUMMY ME ONLINE CBT.

    I have checked with Bank and they said transaction details yet to come. I have already request them to block the card. I am not going to pay this amount. HDFC Bank should use more safety on their card to protect card holder on this unnecessary transaction.

    Hi I am using HDFC Bank Credit Card from last year and I got a similar message that my c card has been used for Rs. 1000 in MUMBAI at DUMMY MEBT ONLINE

    I have got my card blocked and will be raising a dispute, but safety is a major part that a bank must be taking good care of. Seeing these previous complaints, I think the bank is not capable enough to control these fraud txns. I myself am working for an international bank for its credit card back end department. I think your Falcon team is sitting idle and cannot assure to avoid from such fraud transaction authorisations. I think after seeing so many complaints I should not be using any of the bank services as security is the first thing we as customers look for in a bank!!! This is rediculous!!!

    Please let me know what is the bank doing about this issue !!! I WOULD WARN PEOPLE TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHILE APPLYING FOR AN HDFC CREDIT CARD!!! THEY DO NOT ASSURE ANY SECURITY..

    Default Mis Use of My Credit Card

    Hi!
    I Mr. Saumyadeep Dey had a Salary Account in HDFC bank which is active from last 5 years. I was also allotted a Credit Card bearing Credit Card No – 4346182000524114.
    Recently I had applied for a loan. But I was surprised to know that my loan application was rejected only because there is some outstanding amount against my Credit Card & my card is permanently blocked. All other things are ok. On enquiry I found that some insurance policy premium was deducted from my Credit Card.
    Last three years back some amount was deducted from my salary account against my credit card due as premium after which I had stopped the direct deduction of Credit Card dues directly from my salary account by submitting an application.
    But still after that the amount is showing due in my credit card account. I had never signed any document for any Insurance of HDFC. Moreover some of HDFC Insurance representative called me up in my mobile no for renewing the policy. It was also informed to them that I am not interested in the policy. This is my first experience where I found that amount is deducted against your Credit Card without informing the owner & without any written documents.
    Hence on 13th February-2012 I called up your Customer Care Center No (033-22104332) & the representative who attended the call assured that my complaint had been registered & I will get a call within 24 hours from your collection Department.
    I didn’t receive any call, & again I called up the same number on 14th, 15th 16th & 17th February-2012.
    On 14th February-2012 after calling at your Customer Care Center the representative who attended my call gave me a contact number of the Collection Department. But, after trying for more than 30 times no one picked up the phone.
    Again I called up on 15th February-2012 & I was again assured that my complaint had been registered & I will get a call within 24 hours. The same thing was repeated on 16th February-2012.
    On 17th February-2012 again I called up your Customer Care Center number. One lady attended my call & informed that enquiry is going on against my complaint & I will get a call from the Collection Department. I asked her for the complaint No, but she said that no complaint no is given from your end. I asked for the contact no of the collection department or mail id, but she said there is no contact no or mail id of the collection department. I also asked her to discuss the matter to higher authority but reply is the same.

    Default HDFC Platinum card fraud transaction referene no-12137094380

    Dear Sir,

    I am using the HDFC Titanium credit card since last 2 Yr.today i received this message on my mobile "txnalert thank you for using HDFC bank credit card for 1000.00 in Mumbai at DUMMY ME ONLINE CBT @ 16-05-2012,13:34:26, and 1000.00 debited from my hdfc cc and i didn't do any transaction i called hdfc call center they have taken the complaint to block the card and said will send you new credit card within 6-7 working days.

    Second time this type of fraud transaction happened through my HDFC Credit card, last time it was happen 10 month's back from the same details.It's unfortunate for HDFC.Its very serious matter. My request is that please take necessary action to close such kind of fraud transaction.

    I am not going to pay this amount because i have not done any kind of such transaction,HDFC Bank should use more safety on their card to protect card holder on this unnecessary transaction.
